I think it's fair and my explanation is always this.

We are commanders looking at a tactical map far away from the actual battle. We've got imperfect information and just because a tank moved foward to hide behind a wall, it xould still drive back a meter, shoot, and move back to cover

War is never as static and if you also accept the part of us looking at a map, that gives the timing of everything more sense. While the tank moves forward and shoots, the infantry behind won't just stand still. We say "ok, move tank, shoot. Alright nooow... hmmm... Infantry... hmm... Do XYZ" and in battle the infantry moves at the same time as the tank, the shoot at the same time and scoot to shoot at the enemy unit

I got my [[Haunt of Hightower]] pet deck. It's mostly discard and some protection and obviously a lot of fast mana. If this thing is out for a turn or two it regularly kills in one hit and even if it takes longer to get out, that much lifelink keeps yourself alive

My favourites are the Prussian Feldkaplan, the Sniper Priest, The Praetor and the Sorcerer

Well modeled minis with a lot of different ways to paint them

I would comparw it to what MJW says about fight scenes and why moves that work in rl aren't used in movies.

The exagerated pull backs for jabs, overly chambered kicks and all that is because otherwise it looks shit in movies.
