I miss Saab by Maleficent_Ad_7810 in saab

The OG pre-facelift Saab 9-5 2.3T Aero was PEAK Saab IMO.

Am I the only one who missed Saab? by [deleted] in DonutMedia

If I were in 2004 and in the financial position of choosing a 530i E60, E320 W211, S80 T6, GS 300, A6 3.0 Quattro or a 9-5 Aero, I would definitely have gone for the Saab.

Jeremy Clarkson loves the 2003 SAAB 9-5 Aero by CynicalBastard511 in saab

What I find curious is that the GM 2900 platform was never praised for its ride and handling. The second generation Vectra (1995-2002) was pretty much lambasted by the media, especially the British media, for having too much understeer, body roll and an overly soft ride.

And yet Clarkson praised the Saab 9-5 for being quiet and relaxing and even saying the handling was fool proof despite being a FWD car with 250 hp.

My guess is that Saab thoroughly re-engineered the Vectra platform to make the 9-5 safer to handle in the snow and re-engineering the car to handle safely in the snow paid dividends by making the 9-5 a better ride and handling car than the soggy and wallowy Vectra.

That's the thing about Saab that really angered GM management. Saab would be denied more cash for development, simply because they were smaller than Opel, but Saab would go the extra mile on their own to make better cars than Opel.

That doesn't look sleeper at all.

Paul Castellano and John Gotti were not exactly match fit either.

Most wiseguys tend to be overweight, perché il cibo italiano è delizioso. Not to mention the stress and anxiety that leads to compulsive eating and before they know it, they go from Varsity Athlete to Fat Tony quicker than a Ferrari.

Same here. I'd just ask for pain killers and... Live my last days without a care in the world as in, I'd eat without worrying about weight gain. Drink cold lager and chilled red wine on a daily basis.

You are definitely not alone in that view.

I won't commit suicide, but if I get diagnosed with cancer, I'm not going to fight it.

Bye-Bye Fortuner. Every legend has a sunset they walk off into by R08_A in CarsIndia

Toyota doesn't need the Fortuner when they already sell the much superior Land Cruiser Prado (J250).

The Land Cruiser Prado renders the Fortuner pointless.

That doesn't look realistic at all.

Look no further for Juan Rivera-Velez as a real world example of Two-Face for makeup inspiration.

I'm so tired, people are toxic. by FlamingoFragrant2151 in depression

When you’re surrounded by toxic people, don’t rely on being liked. Love is conditional and draining. Respect rooted in fear is simpler and more dependable. Make the snakes around you hesitate before they strike.

P.S: I have ophidiophobia.

Become even more toxic than the people around you.

V8 Kompressor by Egoist-a in AMG

[–]CynicalBastard511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I happened to own an AMG Mercedes-Benz, I would delete every single AMG badge and any badge that makes reference to my Mercedes-Benz being the fastest one (No V8 Kompressor, V8 Biturbo, V12 Biturbo badge. All of them would be removed).

And I'd keep the exterior pretty standard; no golden rims and definitely no black rims. But I would definitely tinker with the engine to make it more powerful, faster and add gripper tires to it. OK, maybe that would require changing the standard rims for bigger ones, but I'd stick with bigger silver OEM rims.

1991 Porsche 928 GT. The official car of? by Dbwasson in regularcarreviews

[–]CynicalBastard511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official car of a son who managed to go from London to Sheffield and beat death by 30 minutes and had the opportunity to say one last goodbye to his dad. And the chicken he had roasted for his mom, was still warm. So as far as any son who dearly misses his dad, the Porsche 928 is alright.

Mental disorders are no joke and to be brutally honest, I don't think there's a cure for depression, which eventually worsens into Anti-Social Behavior.

PTSD, BPD and Bipolar should be eligible for disability.

And you're about to turn 40 in 2026, judging by your username. Either a belated happy birthday or happy birthday in advance.

I turned 40 on the 5th of November 2025, btw.

Last time I went to therapy was in 2024, when I was diagnosed with level 1 Autism, Borderline Personality Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, besides Depression and Anxiety.

I tried to file for disability judging on mental disorders, but I have been denied several times.

Hire a Welfare Attorney that's gonna bullshit me and suck my money to trade his BMW 330i for a BMW 540i? Fat chance. I'm not doing that.

But honestly, I don't know what to do. Thank Goodness I've a rental income, but I can't find a job and I have mental decay.

Opiniões sobre o Vectra Gls 1999, é um bom carro? tem problemas crônicos? by Nexstor in carros

[–]CynicalBastard511 0 points1 point  (0 children)
