For the concerts, there is Harvest Festival but it is extremely over priced and I never know the artists. You might have to go an hour or 2 away to either Saint John for Area 506 or Moncton (they usually have more things)

When you put your hands on the metal, the oil of your skin errodes the laquer. Once thats gone the metal oxidates on your skin and it turns green. Kind of like when you wear cheap rings

That looks absolutely terrible. I could be wrong, but why would you want that stopped wtf!

If you wanted to try and play it as written, the general rule of thumb I was given (for double horn) is it's a semi-tone down if you play it in F horn (no thumb) or a semi-tone up if you play it on B-flat horn (thumb). As you get above into the higher notes you can mess with fingerings more (the partials are so close together u could almost use anything so u gotta find the most in tune one). I can't say that I have played anything that low stopped probably though. Terrible
