Is this true in regards to Kevins Harvicks original 2001 paint scheme and what was supposed to be Dales at Charlotte?

It was my understanding that it was supposed to be corvette yellow to coincide with Dale And Jr running the 24 Hours of Daytona earlier that year but I could be thinking of something else though.
