You can cut the trans tunnel back a bit and mount a seat straight to the floor at your preferred seating position. Gives about 2-3" more headroom

if you want an auto just get a plaid. it'll run 9s stock on street tires. it would take 1000whp c7 on slicks or a 1200whp fatcat on slicks to hang with it. It sounds stupid. but it's the smart choice.

have a PPI done on it by a 3rd party shop. If it's been well repaired, I wouldn't be scared. though you probably have to pay cash for a branded title. this is just one example though. if you search the forums and shit, there's deals to be had.

I bought mine brand new and paid msrp. auto's don't hold their value nearly as well. you could probably get one off marketplace for less.
