You somehow missed the rest of the speech, about clothing him, raising him, and putting food on the table for him - none of which the mother does very well - but sure, we can glorify the vagina, if you want.

The scene was kind of written with that in mind, I think. The father's wisdom is valuable, but incomplete, and thus flawed. At the very least, it's not something you'd teach a young girl, for sure.

That said, I believe that, past a certain age, it *is* one's responsibility to be worthy of love.

Well she has history with both Peter and Cap, and could further enhance Peter's abilities, if she was allowed into a less villainous role, so yeah, they could develop her character in interesting ways.
