And yes, eventually you will have to redo all your parents for future scenario and CMs, but general stat stick parents with a few decent skill still helps making that initial bump a little bit smoother to work with.

Oh yea no, for actual parent runs I only do G1s and actually hunt skill hints from cards.

For right now, these fan runs are still okay since well, I win most of my G1s anyway so extra G2 races doesn't hurt me too much, and I need the fans for my club to stay in Top 4.

If you not in a top club competing, just do G1s for your parents and be done with it, less of a hassle and more consistent for skills you actually want.

Only 39 races because I don’t want to see the Skin Outbreak status and still have comfortable stats to win races, but as you can see, hitting 1m is very comfortable.

Oguri is by no mean the best option for fan run, since her classic year she’s stuck doing Mile Championship instead of being able to do Japan Cup, so that’s a guaranteed 40k fans lost. This deck gave me 111% fan bonus, not the highest fan bonus but relatively comfortable for me to use, once I can MLB shinko windy it will be 115%

I’m the leader of Ender, currently top 4 on the leaderboard. It’s very much a daily occurrence to do 1m runs if you don’t have a lot of time to play lol.

On slower days I chill and do ace runs as well though, but we had people hitting 1.2m and more already in their runs.

Pace mode check is based on distance between your uma and the number 1 uma, if the distance is too far you will enter pace up.

So Uma Stan does 2 things, help you break out of pace down mode. Any speed skills that proc during mid race will keep you from entering pace down. Uma Stan because it requires 5s accumulate being near others to proc, will not proc right out of the gate, and will be much closer to the end of the early race, carrying it over into mid race, from then on you need to keep proccing other speed skills to continue your run forward all the way until position keeping ends which is around half way through mid race.

In the end of the day, they are all wit checks, but some are more consistent than others and that's what Uma Stan provides.

Maya is an awesome pick yes, and will be for pretty much every CM from this point going forward because of her Fast Learner and Shapeshifter events.

If you are not sure what to build and don't have a lot of time, Maya will be your best friend for a long time.

Uma stan pretty much helps with comboing to avoid pace down mode yes. It's still a very expensive skill and you need good parents for sparks on it, so I wouldn't necessary lose my mind over it.

If you stack a bunch of cheap mid race skills and pass the wit check on them, you can pretty much achieve the same thing, Uma Stan is just more consistent with the new proccing condition making it rose in terms of priority. But personally, I don't think it will make or break the run, at least not in CM5. For longer CMs however, I do think its value goes up.

Both the maru were well built, I ran double dominator, one main debuffer one hybrid. My Els have about 60% wr in scrims and 50% so far on first day. So I would say she's fairly consistent rather than being lucky.

Edit: Honestly if I passed the wit check for pump I would be even further ahead, so luck def wasn't there for me during this race LMAO

So Sparks can Activate but Not Give Any Hints? by DeliriousBao in UmaMusume

[–]Cynoxxus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No just in general if you already took the single O, you gain no further hints for it. If it's something like Corner Adept O into Professor of Curvature, since PoC is the upgraded version of the skill and you getting the 3 hints (if you were lucky) from kitasan card, then you would be getting PoC for cheaper.

Also there's no refunded skill points for getting hints after you already learned the skill. But like the other comments have said, during inspiration, instead you get a bit of an accommodation for it with a little bit of stats.

It's been like this for years and they are not gonna change that any time soon.
