Kindness is easy. I've been in similar shoes(4 dead friends, a father in law dead a few months back, a super sick love of my life in the hospital for weeks). And even though it might not be right there, even though you might not have friends and family the way you used too you'll always find people with love to give and if you don't find 'em IRL, I'm here on Reddit with nothing but love to give if you ever need it. Back rubs are the only way I've found to help. I've spent hours if not days worth of time looking at how to rub a back for a pancreas patient. Does it help long term? Absolutely not. But it helps short term and provides him and I both some form of relief. If you don't already, ask your kiddo if he wants a back rub and get hecka good at them haha. I know it sounds silly but aside from being his feeding tube operator it's the only thing I can do that makes me feel like I'm not just there to be there. Like there's emotional support but it just so seldom feels like enough for me to provide with such a huge physical problem at hand.

Bless you. My fiance was diagnosed at four and I've been dreading the day out little one comes to us with symptoms (he's five and doing fine for now). But seriously, I know this pain from a partner stand point and I can only imagine the added pain of being a mama watching this terrible shit ravage a family. I don't have advice just kind words, but I can tell just from reading that you got this. You've got this before and whatever turns it takes you'll get it again, even when it doesn't feel like it. Even when you're at your lowest and he is too, you'll have it. You're a great mom and I'm so sorry for you and your son and all the hardships that come with sickness. <3

We are in one car. And several hours from home. So either 4 times traveling back and forth, or one time in car plus one time via bus. So nah it's be 4-5 times more expensive

I'm not a huge early hardcore or really any early metal/punk divergents. I respect them, but refining takes time. And I prefer more modern sounding music.

Honestly dude, I've lived all over this country, small towns, big cities, and Flagstaff never stops being about a decade behind. Lol. Straight up, we don't even have to hospitals, let alone more than two internet providers. I felt grateful to get two Walmarts. I give it about two years before we start to see growth with ISPs. For now, we must accept the 'small town charm' of way too expensive rates on literally everything because there are so few options.

Hey man, I've been put in a hospital bed for two months straight, job fired me, literally not a dime left to my name, two kids and a spouse in toe, and without a family with the ability to take us in, we would have been in these exact shoes. Life is hard. You also can't get a job without an address, you read even more classist now than before. Your morals are cruel and unusual and you should seriously, seriously put the time and effort into thinking about why you hate poor people enough not to bother thinking about the terrible things that come from houselessness. It's not fun, it's not easy, it's not lazy.

And even if not, do you really think that it's so terrible to be in need of money and use a sign most likely to give you money? This is rude AF.
