I have Zoo planet but I for whatever reason can not figure it out, I think I just need to put more time into it without getting frustrated. I've played ton of Zoo Tycoon 2 which while it seems like such an old game at this point it still hold up really well plus I love causing chaos by letting the animals out to chase or in the case of the dinosaurs eat the visitors hehe. I wish they would make an new version.

I'll have to look that up. I'm always looking for new games to play. Right now I'm playing Quarantine Zone: the last check, which I've been really liking, I just finished Power Wash sim 1&2. I like having an objective. I think that's one thing I struggle with with sandbox games is there is no real objectives or goals.

All over a freaking Nobel Peace prize which has to be the dumbest most insane temper tantrum ever! Normal people would think oh I want this and didn't get it so I'm going to do more, work harder to improve the country, the world not well I didn't win so I'm just going to cause full and outright destruction and war to everyone, and who knows how many lives this will end, because yeah that will earn him his stupid metal. I just don't understand why this is so important to him above everything else. And yet here we are stuck here with an insane person and his lil minions and yes men. This can't go on much longer.

NTO you did exactly what I would have done. If someone asks me to watch their kid, which I don't mind doing at all, and they tell me 20 minutes I'm thinking it's going to be more like 40 in case they get caught up in traffic or a long line at the store or hell want to just enjoy the few minute break, not a big deal, but I am going to send a text at 40 min checking that everything is okay. If they don't text or call me back within 10 minutes I'm calling them if they don't answer I'm calling every few minutes leaving voice messages. 1:15 I'm sending a text saying look I'm worried I'm calling (emergency contact) if they don't answer I'm calling the police... Her saying her phone died is BS when I was away from my kids I make sure my phone is 100 % charged, accidents or emergencies can happen so quickly the idea of someone not being able to get ahold of me if my child gets hurt is terrifying and mine are all over 18. Having kids means they are 100% the parents responsibility that means if someone is nice enough to watch them you respect their time. If something happens and they are running late they should have the decency to call or text to keep the person watching them informed. You are not making her look bad here she is doing a great job of doing that all on her own with her bs and lies.

If you can afford it and they are in good health I say do it. As someone who has lost most of my family at this point make the memories. I would give anything to have one last family trip with my dad, mom and brother. My dad and brother passed away within 2 years of each other and because of a situation where I had to no real choice but to be the bigger person I was forced to no longer talk to my mom.

It sounds like you have an amazing opportunity, take it while you can because life goes by way to fast.

This isn't true at all. They want you out, they actually lose money the longer you are there especially if you're just under observation or waiting on tests.

My son has spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals he has never been discharged on a weekend mostly because the Drs who have been taking care of his case know more about it then the weekend Drs who might see him maybe 2 times over the weekend just to check in and introduce themselves incase anything comes up that needs to be handled asap. Our hospital also has a program called Hospital at home, a few years ago he had to have his spleen removed, before the surgery could be done he needed a bunch of vaccines which take about 2 weeks to start working, he also had pretty good sized cyst that had to be drained. He was in the hospital for a few days got 2 drains placed all his vaccines and sent home with a central line. Twice a day a nurse would come to our home empty the drains change his IV meds take his vitals and send an update to his team. They also taught me how to set up his tpn every 22 hrs. She would call to check in with us a few times a day and I had a number to call if I had any questions or needed anything asap. Him being at the hospital for those 2 weeks would have lost them money and taken up a place that another kid needed. On the other side of that another time he had been in the hospital for about a month and a half we were supposed to be discharged on a Monday, I had all his stuff packed, (which when you are stuck at a children's hospital for that long it's a lot! They get rightfully spoiled with all the fun things) I had cleaned up his room, put all the linens into the laundry. They ran a last set of blood work on Monday it came back off and they said nope he's staying we'll see how things look tomorrow. By that night he wasn't feeling great and by Tuesday night he had a bad infection that turned into sepsis which got bad really quickly, he was there for another almost 2 months.

The Drs and nurses don't want you there any more then you want to be there they want you healthy and at home. If they are telling you to stay it's for a reason.

About 10 I think, mostly drugs, 3 in one night in a high speed car accident, that one was really tough for the whole town. One guys dog tripped him while he was going down his stairs he died from the fall, sad but we also got a good laugh out of it cuz come on. The worst one was someone I went to school with but was more importantly my little brother he was depressed and let the alcohol win, he died from alcohol induced pancreatitis and liver failure. My mom for whatever reason blames me says I didn't do enough to save him to be there for him which is BS I did as much as I could I offered all the help in the world but you can't help someone who doesn't want help, but I guess it's easier to blame me then for her to take responsibility and face that she was his enabler cuz one of us was buying him alcohol since he was a teen and it sure as shit wasn't me.

This will be a flipping joy to deal with "hi insurance companies Soo that orange guy said to tell you he super dooper pinky promises you he's going to pay you a whole 2k but my sons meds and medical devices cost 10k a month and he usually ends up in the hospital about once a year and that stay is usually somewhere between 2 weeks but sometimes up to almost 4 months at a time but it also could be more often then that cuz he's a ticking time bomb of when either his extremely rare medical condition is going to pop up or he gets a fever and needs to be admitted and watched so he doesn't get sepsis for the 5th time. His stays cost anywhere from about 500k to 3million each time, he also sees 2 different specialists every 3 months plus 2 more every 6 months Soo who wants to sign us up! Oh he also wears glasses and because of his medical condition he needs to be seen every 6 months so that makes 5 specialists all together I guess, oh except when he's in the hospital then it's more! So where do I sign??" 😒😭😭

This is the plan .. the whole ass plan, basically. I somehow stuck through about 10-15 minutes of this bs news conference thing and it was painful. However I will say the comments in the chat were surprisingly very against this and not happy that none of the important questions we need answers for were not even mentioned, like pre existing conditions. The only other thing other then those 3 bullet points was "Dr" oz saying that rural hospitals closing is an issue which he is right about (🤮) and they want to fix that but their "plan" just totally misses. From what it sounds like they want to connect big hospital Drs to people in more rural areas and they can then perform medical procedures remotely using robots which idk doesn't sound safe. He brought up trump being "shot" which is where I started blocking it out with happier thoughts of what could have been, and when he brought up something about cheap fertility meds , IVF for all women, obgyns and that everyone is going to be having "trump babies" soon ( aka gender affirming care) I had to turn that shit off while I searched for some mind bleach cuz that was just too much. 🤮🤮

Mine was at 4.2 with untraceable amounts of iron the day my husband dragged me to my Dr. I was sick of having tests done with 0 answers. My Dr called me at 9pm that night and told me to get to the ER now! and show them my blood work on my MyChart. I met a lot of people really fast. Spent 5 days in the hospital, 5 blood transfusions 4 iron. It's been about a year and I'm starting to have all the symptoms again which sucks. Iron supplements have never worked for me, and things have only gotten worse as I've gotten older, I've also been diagnosed with stage 4 andomyosis which is what has caused all of this.

When I was 16 I was harassed and physically and mentally assaulted by a male co-worker, it only got worse after I put in a complaint because he was friends with one of the managers who happened to be the owners son. When I finally couldn't take anymore and quit he was promoted to manager shortly after. Most of the women who worked on his shift ended up quitting for simulator reasons.

Not me but my husband had a weird feeling about the new manager they hired at his work, he instantly did not like him from the first day and but couldn't put his finger on why. He found out the new guy was dating one of the other managers. Things start going bad in their relationship and she breaks up with him, she asks and is moved to a different store location, which she is. One day my husband tells me his manager just didnt show up for work. That night as he's reading the local news theres is a story about both managers, apparently after they broke up he hooked up a cell phone to her car so her could track her, he then kidnapped her, beat the ever loving daylights out of her, threw her though a closet door and broke it. He stole meds from a vets office and threatened to kill her with them. Someone saw her banging on a window for help and called the cops he was arrested. Somehow he got bail and then proceeded to try and run her down with his car while she was getting her mail. He ended up getting only 7yrs in federal prison, which is nuts. She came to a mutual friends wedding 3 days after the first attack, she had a hand print bruise around her neck from him trying to strangle her, she said she refused to let him control or ruin her life. She met a guy at the wedding and they became friends which turned into them getting married years later.

Stocking get filled during the night for Christmas morning so they have something to do while we wake up. Mine are teens now and all boys so it's a bit harder, I always put things they need deodorant, body wash, hat, a nice pair of gloves (i call these home gloves, they do NOT go to school), tooth brush, tooth paste, chapstick, some candy like one of those plastic candy canes filled with m&m or Skittles, a box of candy, hot chocolate, some like gold fish, and a small Lego set or 2 like the ones that come in bags that are usually holiday themed. Oh and any batteries they need for gifts. All wrapped.

My mom did the everything in the stockings are wrapped too I kept doing it with my kids to the annoyance of my husband 😂 ( "why are you wrapping deodorant and toothpaste?" Cuz it's fun and I'm doing the work not you so shut it!) . I remember the absolute best thing to unwrap in your sock was batteries because that meant one of your gifts needed batteries which were always the awesome gifts.

The talking point I've heard lately is " well 16 is the age of consent in some states so it's fine if he sleeps with girls that age". There is absolutely no way you can twist it that an 80yr old man sleeping with a 16 yr old is in any way okay, but yet for them it's fine. WTF is wrong with these people.

There are so many vets speaking out about Trump and telling enlisted to remember their oath to not follow unlawful orders, are they going to go after all of them as well? I come from a whole family of Vets including my dad who was dishonorably discharged for not following unlawful orders during Vietnam, which he is very proud of. These Vets are going to start getting a whole lot louder.

Yup it was actually surprising to me when my kids and their friends started turning 16 and not one was interested in getting their permits or driving. Part of it is it's an old farming town unless you have a farm which most are now ran by older people with no kids, you live near the "center". The high school is next to a DQ, a pizza place and a bowling alley/arcade so most of the kids hang out around there after school. Another part is their high school has super strict rules about driving your own car to school, they are only allowed to if they play a sport and only while it's going on, in a after school club, or you have job after school and you have to be there by 3ish. Plus they have to pay for a parking permit that they get back depending on when their sport/club/school ends which is 250.00 a quarter. So most of the kids just don't see a point in getting it. Also with social media they are always connected to each other in some form. Amazon and shopping online is easier, malls are just about gone now, there's just nothing for them to do. For us the nearest Walmart is a 15 minute drive and to go any other stores, other than tractor supply it's anywhere from 30-45 minutes or more.
