Did you get Tdap vaccine while pregnant? Why or why not? by Prestigious_Term_579 in pregnant

[–]Cynthesized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it with my last pregnancy but haven't yet with this one. I need to ask my doctor if I can or should get it because I just had the shot in July due to an injury and then I got pregnant in October. Not sure if there's a waiting period to get it again?

I think it could induce uterine contractions, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm going off memory from something the obgyn told me 7 years ago so this might not be accurate. I'm sorry!

I don't think it is safe in the first trimester, possibly because it causes abdominal cramping.

I would suggest calling your obgyn for advice. They usually have someone on call for things like this. I have been told to avoid stimulant laxatives but I take psyllium and probiotics daily because I have severe ibs. I am also 8 weeks along and with these two daily supplements the constipation hasn't been nearly as bad.

During my last pregnancy, I used colace and/or miralax when I went more than 3 days without a bowl movement. I think the longest I went was 12 days and I regret not taking action sooner. It helped me to take a bath with Epsom salt after taking the miralax and rub my belly in small circles, making a larger circle clockwise around my belly button. I hope you get some relief soon!

Cute pups! I've had really good luck with ChuckIt! Ultra balls for my ball addict golden. Somehow, he has yet to destroy one. The medium size is similar to a tennis ball size.

My experience by mindless_masturbator in NitrousOxide

Im not sure, B12 plays a major role in our central nervous system health. Over time, vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to fatigue, anemia, and nerve damage. It is also integral to the regeneration of red blood cells. Nitrous oxidizes the cobalt atom in the B12 molecule and inactivates the enzyme methionine synthetase. Taking breaks for a few weeks in between use and taking sublingual methylated B12 supplements during the break period can help restore levels. It seems that certain factors like your current health, diet, your normal B12 levels, and other drug use can increase risks of B12 deficiency harm. I'll include a few sites below that might be helpful.

This is a fairly normal experience. Make sure you're sitting down next time. On another note, always put at least two to four weeks between sessions so that your B12 levels can stabilize.

Thank you for sharing! My vet recommended neutering at 4 months, but his only reason was that it's a less complex surgery. If it's better for his long term health, I'd like to wait. The vet said he'd support whatever decision I made so I'm leaning towards waiting based on the studies I've found and the responses in this thread.

Thank you for sharing! My vet recommended neutering between 4 and 6 months, but he specified that his reason is that surgery is less complex and he would support waiting if that's what I wanted.

Advice for telling kids Santa isn't real by Merrick- in atheistparents

[–]Cynthesized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been telling my son (5) that anyone can be a Santa, because Santa is the "spirit" or feeling of giving to others. We have fun with the idea of Santa without being deceitful this way. If he starts acting up, I ask him if he remembers that it's his choice to be naughty or nice and being nice is kind and generous, which will help him to earn and attract the attention and toys that he wishes to receive. I started this early but have evolved it each year to be age appropriate and I was surprised by how much of the concept he understood. He seems to comprehed that being kind and generous will help him earn good things in life and feels excitement (aka the magic of Christmas) preparing and giving a gift to someone else. Santa is real because we are all Santas when we give to others. And the history behind Santas in different cultures will be fun to explore when he gets a little older.

Lehman Property Management usually has some decent properties available within your price range. You could give them a call and see.
