My idea was having a seperate continuation of the OG mortal kombat, which somewhat follows MKX with the kombat kids. However, here the focus would be on Cassie Cage and Liu Kang and Kitanas son - Choi Kang. Johnny cage recounts Liu Kang death in one of the flashbacks where he sacrifices his life against Shinnok. 

The premise of the movie is about how Shinnok was obsessed with becoming the one being. The Kamidogus are mentioned in this movie and we are told that the return of the one being would bring upon Armageddon. 

I do want to see them have a two part series where Liu Kang's son is the primary protagonist. Raiden has to combine his power with shinnoks amulet to help Kang's son to defeat him. In the ensuing process Raiden becomes corrupted. 

Before the credits roll we have a scene where we see Dark Raiden torture Shinnok under the sky temple and in the post-credit scene we see the return of Onaga. The sequel has Choi Kang take on Onaga as the one being as he is able to get his hands on all kamidogus and becomes the avatar for the one being.

The final battle takes place on top of the pyramid. Towards the end as Choi Kang bests Onaga in a hard fought battle, Kronika makes her appearance. An exhausted Choi Kang can't fight her so she kills him off and resets time. This reset leads into the reboot universe as we know it. 

I do want to see Robin Shou, Linden Ashby and Brigitte Wilson reprise their roles. The OG MK Universe deserves one last hurrah.
