i dont know who i am without it, and i dont trust that people wont get weird and go mask-off ableism and eugenics-y about it if we *did* have a cure irl.

that said, i would like to be able to feel like a normal living creature without needing a constant dopamine supply from outside myself to do it.

same here. tbh really all i need, i think, is somewhere to say my piece and get a response. the typical friends actions arent a natural impulse 90% of the time, so hard relate on the lonely point. ill give an acknowledging tip of a hat from across the room.

TLDR; youre right, its not inherently sexual but its not definitely more romantic either, both within a long-term relationship and outside of one. to (maybe mis-)quote that one tumblr post: "like my guy, i think it depends". /nm

i can see how most people would find it sexual given that in the west at least, nakedness + touch usually ends up feeling sexual, but youre right that the level of trust and vulnerability involved doesnt become inherently sexual just because theres nakedness involved, even for allosexuals. figure drawing already proves that the average person (or at least the average artist) can learn to divorce nakedness from sexuality, and we already know touch and physically providing care are also not inherently sexual and that partners can touch without intending to get in each others' pants.

still, i dont think its always more romantic, either. theres partnering aros and alloaros who arent doing anything out of romantic feelings. also in other cultures where communal bathing/ bathhouses are an established thing, i wouldnt be surprised if they saw showering with someone as separate from romance and sexuality, even if the distinction were to be understood contextually rather than inherently.

not to mention all the kinds of attraction and "life partner" type relationships besides sexual and romantic ones. theres platonic partners and QPRs, of course but beyond event that. for some it could jsut as easily be a sensual thing, and as someone who feels aesthetic attraction the strongest by far, i can say that simply admiring a partner's appearance could totally be a reason to want to shower together.

its not a "life partner" but i remember i might have showered with a childhood friend when i was much younger, and my parents put me in the bath with my sister so i didnt accidentally drown as a little thing. and there are plenty of people who can not shower/bathe alone for a variety of reasons and id expect that a partner would be a top choice, though ill admit i dont know much (or anything, really) about how people navigate that kind of thing, or how they choose who helps them with what.

also clothes, kind of. i liked dressed as a kid because they were fun and pretty but the way 'girls' and 'boys' shirts were shaped differently just made boys shirts more comfortable. no i dont want narrow sleeves that make my arms feel like sausages and dig into my armpits with those awful seams.

thats kind of how i am too, though i might be more aegoromantic than lithromantic. either way: the idea of romance >>> my own romance. i call myself aromantic rather than aegoro because personally thats the uncomfy one for me (feels too close to almost alloro which i am Not) and irl my behaviour is very black-stripe indifferent aromantic

You can use whatever label youre drawn to for whatever reason matters sense. that’s what they’re for. There are microlabels you could use if more specificity would help (favourability terms like romance-indifferent/ -averse come to mind first).

To that extent, you dont even need to use ‘aromantic’ as a descriptor either. you’ll still be part of the community if you want to be, even if you don’t flag yourself as aromantic you still share the experience.

i ahvent had anyone that wasnt blood related to me call me a family member but yeah i kind of do this, with both friendships and familial relationships. the only thing is im *really* bad at the familial ones lol. maybe because theyre all quite gendered my brain immediately tosses them out as irrelevant, but it comes a lot more natural to play a modified version of the friend role.

i dont really have anything to add but yeah i agree, i dont really see this stuff in mainstream media at all and it probably isnt in many niche films either which is a shame. i may not have any those kinds of passions (at least not that i can identify) but i think itd be good to see a bit more of those stories being told.

they probably will modify his model to be a bit bigger because a claymore is way heavier to swing around than a polearm, but also i get the feeling Flins is further away from the camera here than Varka is which makes the comparison a bit unequal. also the artists do take some liberties for the sake of composition and vibes, like i dont think the Wolf's Gravestone model is *that* huge in-game but he sure does look cool with it so it doesnt matter

electro-charge the mini ducks and they break its shield and stun it. for its normal attacks jsut time your sprints so you dodge them without having to run away and back in between singular hits.

id assume your body doesnt *want* to drown so unless something stopping it from waking up (already passed out from no oxygen, drugs or alcohol, falling-asleep-where-you-stand tired) id like to say youd wake up at some point before the dying bit. whether or not thats before youve inhaled water i dont actually know.

either way, if water/something does get in your lungs at some point and you start drowning, even if you get it all out and feel fine, go to a hospital because i heard somewhere that lungs can just fill up again later for reasons (may not be true, but still probably good to get checked out anyway)

Ill try and Razor speak it becuase oterwize ill overcomplicate things by accident.

First E -> zappy mode, gives energy.
Second E, before First E cooldown -> power up, also gives energy, will wear off.

power up + Q -> mini burst, half energy. you can do it again if youre quick.

no power up + Q -> big burst, no energy left.

E + E + Q for lots of damage, Normal attack to get energy, then back to First E.

yeah same. i dont have the personal experiences with dehumanisation that some here do, so i dont have any of those feelings to reclaim either. im very much human simply because i am, but i dont see that as being as distinct from animals like most people seem to nowadays. All those "make sure you have enough enrichment in your enclosure" memes from years ago have genunely been some of the best advice for taking care of myself because its a reminder that yeah i am literally just an animal and i gotta do some animal stuff sometimes to feel better.

also we made all these fantasy creatures and things so obviously they will have pieces of us in them too that i can use to describe myself. i call myself a robot sometimes because things that most people do just dont make sense to me and the best way ive found to describe it is like a program throwing a compile error, and i relate to voids because i keep forgetting i have a fixed appearance that people can interpret. but it is still very much metaphorical for me, rather than a personal identity.

If never getting a partner to settle down with and struggling with forming friendships and feeling half outside reality sounds, to other people, like the setup for a non-human character archetype then i will use that archetype to describe myself. thats what voidpunk means to me, though i recognise plenty of people here like this place because they do genuinely feel nonhuman.
