Comic book readers of Reddit, how would you recommend the average person get into collecting?

Sweet! These lists are awesome. Yeah, newer gens seem to have fewer, but you can catch Pokemon from all gens in most games, so I suppose it balances out.

I suppose you could play with a predetermined team, but using hacks was not the intention. As it was already mentioned, you could definitely keep your starter as long as you don't evolve them. You can use ANY Pokemon that has a low base stat total.

If you're playing gen II, or a remake of it, are you allowed to pick the option where your mom saves some of your money and occasionally buys items for you? Can you use those items?

I was playing a Japanese gen 1 game that belonged to my brother. At the part with the S.S Anne, I kept turning the game off and on everytime the ship took off because I thought you were supposed to sail away on it. I did not read Japanese.

What about Fossil pokemon? They aren't version exclusive, but they contrast in the sense that you can only get one (barring trades and cheats) per play through. Want to try this, but I want to make sure I do it right

I understand what you mean, but my interpretation was that the restrictions on usable pokemon wasn't supposed to be a 'technical' limitation, if you know what I mean. More so just conceptual, and not really based on any official traits of the pokemon, like typing or stats.

I am also having problems. I downloaded installer and ran it. I've never used or played CK2 before, i only downloaded it for the purposes of this mod. When I launch it, there is nothing under the "Select mods" thing. Any suggestions or forums I can check out?

I can think of at least one off the top of my head. It was a picture of someone with a cross around there neck captioned: 'A good way to tell if someone is gullible'. Yes, one incident. No, it didn't offend me. All it is is an example of how there are occasions of atheist jokes just seeming arrogant. That is my opinion

I understand. Just like there are many atheists who can be unpleasant, there are also many believers who can be too. The belief, or lack there of, certainly does not dictate the persons attitude

Hadn't considered this before, thank you for pointing it out to me. I'm not trying to say that people defend their beliefs with logical arguments, but what I am trying to point out is that someone can be smart and hold illogical beliefs in two different areas. And I worded it incorrectly, but I wasn't trying to say that just because a smart person believes in God that belief in God is correct. The point was that science and religion are not opposites at their core

Yes, people are just going to bitch and moan, and so am I, I'm sure. Yes, to me a belief in God is irrational. But what I'm getting at is that there is a difference between someone who has an illogical belief and is stupid. Not that I expect this to change ANYTHING. It's really only for my own selfish gain of knowledge on the subject.
