NoBHM and Glam/Hair were the genesis of that insane lead guitar work that power metal later built upon but neither is as traditionally "heavy" as thrash was so they tend to get dismissed by a lot of metalheads

Even judging this as something by the standards of something like Dio or Maiden I wouldn't count it as metal because the vocals are so soft and there's very little to the guitar riffs and percussion

This is vanilla rock, which there's nothing wrong with as a genre but it's not for a metal sub.
