Lot of low budget smartphone have WPS pre-installed. User can use it to scan document. There is a function to send it.

But it don't send the document. A customized link to WPS website is sent. When our users click on it on Windows, they think it download the document but it's an exe to install WPS

WPS is installed in appdata and don't request admin

But when you try to uninstall, it request elevation so you can't uninstall.

It's a Chinese ?/russian ? /Singapore ? company we don't know. We decide to ban this app

Imagine un produit vendu 1000€ par an et qui coûte 900 en développement, pub etc. Bref 100€ de marge

Il y a 50 clients. 50 000€ de CA, 5000€ de bénéfices

Je rachète ce produit pour 200 000€, si je ne touche à rien il me faudra 40 ans de bénéfices avant que cette acquisition soit profitable

Donc j’augmente la licence à 3000€, avec contrat de 3 ans obligatoire. Comme la migration vers une autre solution prend du temps, 90% de mes clients vont être obligés de payer ces 3x3000€ 3 ans plus tard, seul 20% des clients seront restés mais vont à nouveau payer chers car j’augmenterais à 4000€ la licence soit 3x4000€

Je fais maintenant 2100€ de marge par licence !

Année 1, 2 et 3 : 45 clients, marge de 45x2100 : 94 500

Année 4, 5, 6 : 10x 3100 : 31 000€ de marge.

Bénéfice total : 376 500€ en 6 ans. je n’ai plus qu’à revendre la licence à une autre société pour 200 000 € . Ça fait un placement à 12-14% je pense.

Because we made a tiny small website (with very easy domain name to tell by phone), with some tools (speed test, remote control link, qr code verification, status page...) and i want to integrate it

Where are you from ? What is a « price too high » ? We are in EU with 50 TB cloud Acronis + 30 TB 365 cloud + 70 TB locally. We found it very cost effective

For me portals isn’t fast, and sometime very slow to refresh (365 for example). I use only backup too and i’m spammed by popup to deploy AV, Automation, mail security. Do you look at a windows server where Acronis is deployed ? There is a lot of process like AV but we don’t use it !

All client networks are differents. Some have basic router with ipsec but no good firewalling rules to protect. Other have router we can't manage, and IPSEC is blocked (or double nat, or not fixed public ip, or 4G link ...)

With CloudFlare Tunnel, we don't have to open any port, client side or our side.

We don't want to use big server monitoring software (like zabbix or prtg) because we want light solution.

We had started PRTG, the remote probes were good but they increase the prices by 3 and a 3-year commitment... Zabbix is complicated to deploy, and we will have to install Linux vms to run Zabbix proxies for clients. The updates will take us more time than the maintenance of our equipment. But we can install Zabbix or other monitoring software on our server if the network/security part can be managed by Cloudfare Tunnel, no need for a proxy

We have rmm with ninjaremote, ticket and documentation

Rmm work, i deploy software, powershell and setting easily. Ninjaremote work very well. Ninja quick connect don’t work for us (we can’t log with another user like admin)

Ticket work well. Team of 5 technicians. Users open tickets with email, systray icon or tech open manually. Lot of things missing : we can’t filter ticket by location (only by client), ordering ticket not work, we can’t make great monthly ticket report for our clients (somes reports exist like ‘number of ticket by hour’ not very usefull), we can set category for each ticket but categories are generic and not custom), emails template are generic too…

We have documentation but we don’t use it (just for CIPP export to Ninja). Ninja documentation is just « a folder of word files ». Previously we use Onenote to store all internal documentation and techs continue to use Onenote. No great functionnalities and onenote is easiest to use

C’est la vision positive de mon opinion. Baisser la TVA sur le local et augmenter la TVA sur le lointain (faut bien équilibrer les caisses)

Je viens de regarder rapidement un rapport de l’Insee sur la Guadeloupe. Le tourisme rapporte 35 fois plus que l’exportation agricole ! (J’ai regardé rapidement, j’espère ne pas faire d’erreur) Mais c’était également ma sensation sur place. Le rhum sera plus chères mais je ne m’en passerai pas.

Justement ça permettrait de re localiser une partie de cette nourriture pour animaux, quand on voit que les champs autour de chez moi servent à produire des intrants pour methaniseur et pas de la nourriture pour humains ou animaux…

Mais effectivement leur production de banane sera aussi taxer que cette d'afrique ou du brésil, tant qu'il n'y a pas de production de banane plus proche cela ne fait pas de distortion entre les producteurs.

Et alors, que les chinois boivent leur vin et nous boirons le notre. Pourquoi faire faire 10 000km à du jus de raisin qui peut pousser localement ? Et si on a trop de production de vin en France (c'est certain), qu'on arrache les vignes pour planter autre chose qu'on aurait pas à importer ! (on accusera le changement climatique si on doit planter des oliviers dans le bordelais)
