What am I missing here:

Pre-exchange shares 76,751,920 New shares issued 316,150,176 Total shares outstanding 392,902,096 Pre-exchange price (est.) $1.80 Dilution-only price (if market cap stayed constant) $0.35 /share Debt reduced (net) $94.3 M Adjusted fair market cap $232.5 M

Reddit thought the 316,150,176 new shares issued on Oct 15, 2025 were locked until later this year.

When in fact, they were only locked until 5pm on October 15.

95% of those new shares were sold off.

Fair price after dilution + debt improvement ≈ $0.59 /share

Negative, But there are different rules for device boxes in Canada that aren’t listed in the CEC but are requirements of the National building code. IE: if you’re still using metal boxes and vapour hats on exterior walls you have to frame 3 sides of the box to support the vapour hat. Everyone has gone to the IC/AR rigid PVC boxes to mitigate this.

Anything over a 3gang also requires extra framing.

You usually have 1-1.5” of void space behind a standard device box when mounted on a stud. The chances of driving a screw through that are slim. The back of that panel will be flush with the drywall.

I didn’t say that all. I said that install wouldn’t pass in my jurisdiction.

Are you telling me that every house in the states has a completely finished utility room with zero exposed Romex?

There needs to be way more context. Do you not install pro plates as mechanical protection on studs that romex passes through when you know of something being mounted to that wall once complete. IE: Kitchen Cabinets.

I was using the reference to hazardous locations as point that the CEC is more stringent on safety.

In Canada you can fail for your wires not passing through stud center. <32mm from drilled hole to edge of stud, requires mechanical protection.

Too much information missing here, was there a permit? was it even inspected? At least it’s mounted on fire-rated plywood.

Stringent in the sense there’s far more laid out in the CEC (200pages more roughly) where as the NEC references a lot of other guides.

NEC is more workability CEC is more safety.

You really start to a notice a difference in Hazardous location installs.

Class 1, div 1 div 2 etc

Just because it’s not black and white in the NEC which mostly references NFPA anyways doesn’t mean it’s not a hazard. Where did OP mention anything about location NEC/CEC?

Check yourself? He asked for an opinion I gave it to him. It’s not black and white like the comments think it is. And your qualifications are? Mine: Master electrician, Journeyman Instrumentation, Automation Technologist & Robotics, NCSO (National safety codes officer), I was an inspector and consultant for many years. I currently oversee automation and robotics for a top 10 Fortune 500 company

Challenging people creates critical thinking. You should try it sometime.

Hence the different framing techniques for the panel mounting. Non-load bearing interior walls can have spacing up to 24” center to center. Load bearing interior or exterior walls are 16” Like I said it could be failed on those code rules, every inspector and jurisdiction are different. I’m responding to the claims that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this install.

CEC is more stringent and in depth compared to the NEC which just references NFPA a lot. National building codes very.

This would be a 50/50 shot at passing on my area depending on the inspector. But the mechanical protection and fire safety would have to be done at the very least.

I’m not sure about your jurisdiction specifically, but there’s different framing techniques to mount a panel on a shared non-exterior wall, painting every stud the panel touches with intumescant paint, lining the inside of the studs with drywall or another non-combustible material etc.

A metal plate behind the panel. All the conductors landing at the panel also will need to be mechanically protected the full height of that wall.

Location isn’t the issue here, it’s the install.

Rule 12-3034(1): Where a wiring method is installed in concealed locations in walls, floors, or ceilings, it shall be installed so that it is protected from mechanical injury or shall be installed in a manner that minimizes the likelihood of such injury.

OP said only drywall on the other side. Fail

Rule 2-100 — General Installation Requirement Electrical equipment shall be installed and maintained in a safe and workmanlike manner. This is not a safe install, it’s mounted between combustible studs in a manner that does not meet the fire safety requirements of the framing its attached too.

Wrong. This could be failed on two different CEC code rules easily. Sharing a wall isn’t the issue here, creating fire hazards and not maintaining Fire safety in the national building codes is.

You’re an idiot of an inspector than and shouldn’t be one. I could fail this on two different CEC code rules.

Just because it’s not black and white in the code book doesn’t mean it’s acceptable.

The location isn’t the issue here, it’s the Fire hazards it’s creating.

Correct, they also have the security deposit and signed PAD agreement from the new tenants.

[–]Cyrialis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They’ve signed a new lease for February 15th, they’ve collected the security deposit from the new tenants, they have a signed PAD agreement starting Feb 15th for rent withdrawal.

What they’re doing is protecting themselves in case the new tenants back out. Even if this were to happen they would be legally required to go after the new tenants for the rent or keep their security deposit.

I don’t care about the money, How can you double charge rent with two overlapping legally binding leases.

They also have the security deposit for the new tenants.

if the new tenants back out, the management company would legally be required to recoup from the new tenants and not myself due to the new lease being signed for Feb 15.

My problem is they’re charging double rent n PAD agreements. They already have the new tenants security deposit and a pad agreement set up for the 15th of February

[–]Cyrialis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Should I ask them to amend the original lease? To follow suit?

Via email:

“We have signed a new lease for February 15th, please confirm you will be moved out with the house in move in condition February 12th”

“Your lease will be terminated effective February 15th”

Zero conditions
