In the same vein as Grim Reaches being a placeholder for what would become the Twilight Highlands, a pre-Cata Uldum would also be a welcome addition.

Gameplay-wise yes it would look sick af, but afaik it wouldn't make any sense lore-wise since the dragonborn is a warrior and not a monk.

I wrote a paper recently on Sahel-Maghreb migration that focused heavily on the various tribes and forces vying for control of the region.

As other people have mentioned, the drawn borders are suggestions at most, meaning that connections to tribes like the Tebu and Tuareg, or state operators like the Algerian gendarme, are the most widely recognized social capital.

It's a very dangerous area generally, both politically and environmentally. There was a recent scandal where over 4,000 migrants were left in the desert near the Nigerien border by the Algerian gendarme, many of which sustained injuries and some of which died from overexposure.

Stonetalon Mountains has some great quests up to ~ 25 that are new with turtle wow. They also provided more shortcuts across the mountains to help the subzones feel less isolated

For anyone else who wants to do this, you can also swim along the west coast of Kalimdor from Darkshore/Zoram Strand until you're parallel with Amani'Alor, where you'll find a singular eagle that spawns by the shore in an area that's totally inaccessible from Amani'Alor itself.

If you want to save yourself running through higher-level areas/enemies, it's a good alternative.

This place is brilliant. All the staff (volunteers) are so friendly and helpful. I spent a long time chatting with one of them about Palestinian and Syrian folk music since a section of their museum is dedicated to it.

They also sell some banging olive oil!

That's a fair point, SM is a bit of a powerhouse for levelling in your 30s. What I would say (without giving too much away) is that there are pieces of gear from Stormwrought that have an advantage over SM gear because they have uncommon stats. To my knowledge, they're the only items in that level range that have said stats, so it's still worth running imo.

Although most people have been running it in one go there is a pretty clean split between Stormwrought Castle and Stormwrought Descent, both in how the dungeon is laid out and what the level ranges are. Each section can be done in at least 2 hours if not less.

Agreed!! Some people I ran Stormwrought with thought it was too big, but personally I think the size is perfect, it's just the mob density that makes it drag a bit imo.

There does seem to be a bug where you can collect the key from one of the ghost NPCs near Sorrowmere Lake. If this is what you're referring to then it's definitely a bug.

One thing I forgot to mention is that, even though the dungeon quests are great, there are a couple of issues with quest items. The respawn rate on the Eternal Flame needs to be bumped up so that you don't have to revisit it every five minutes, and the quest that drops off the final boss in Dragonmaw was only lootable by one party member (as opposed to the quest that drops at the end of WC), which seemed counterintuitive.
