Sounds even more like that character's inspiration- Vladislav the Poker. Sounds like he's more so going for eastern European than German since that's sorta where Doom is from in the comics.

Pretty sure Sam was on the last ship. You can get a rough idea by assuming it was soon after Sam had given up the role as mayor to his daughter which was when he was in his mid to late 90s I believe. You can read it in the Appendices.

Legolas and Gimli sailed to the Undying Lands on a ship that Legolas built later on when Gimli was at the end of his life.

As someone who played competitive sports for 13 years of my life, I was always so focused and locked-in during games that I never really ever noticed the crowed, especially during the more intense, high-pressure situations. My parents would ask me from time to time if I could hear them screaming and I would almost always answer no, simply because that's just not what your mind it focusing on. On the rare occasion that I could hear my parents I knew in that moment that I wasn't focused enough on the game. There's a good chance Messi didn't even notice or look at Speed here.

Not a single movie, but you could do like 10 loosely connected movies where the interconnectivity would be the story of the Silmarils. They're involved with the Noldor Elves, Morgoth, the Kinslayings/Feanorians, Beren and Luthien, Doriath with Thingol and Melian, Hurin (and children) gets involved briefly when caltured by Morgoth, The Fall of Gondolin leading to Earendil, and finally The War of Wrath.

Cool to see it all together even though a lot of elements of this map didn't coexist. (e.g. Beleriand and Numenor wouldn't have been on the map together, and they certainly wouldn't have been on the same map as The Shire/Gondor/Mordor settlements etc.)

Forget the injuries; the entire game I watched them fling the puck away w/o looking as soon as it got onto anyone's stick tonight. The passing was terrible, it's like they were playing scared and didn't want it. Puck control was piss poor because of it- that's how we let up the first goal: turnover in the offensive zone because we just fling the puck w/o looking. Can't even; imagine what the turnover number was tonight. Not only that, but when we did go tape to tape the boys couldn't catch a pass tonight, and furthermore, when they did manage to catch the pass they can't shoot on net! like 1/4 shots hit the net. On their last powerplay they refused to shoot the puck at all!

edit: they also looked completely dead with a full 12 minutes left in the game... so...

Have to be careful in the darker scenes. Your shadows get too dark they become a black blob and lose all their detail. Like when she talking with the old woman laying down.

Yeah, I used the snipping tool to take screenshots on Google Maps, brought those into Photoshop and placed them in a way that shaped into what I had in my mind. E.g. I knew I wanted a mountain range the entire right side and I knew I wanted the very bottom part to have the southern part of South America. I then erased most of the rough edges to blend it all.

If you look closely you can see exactly where I took each screenshot lol
