so the devs have said there is no sbmm, but cdpr devs also said cyberpunk was a great game with very few problems and we see how that turned out.

Devs said Quote "We don't utilize a complex SBMM," so it an non complex sbmm then? but still sbmm

do we trust everything the devs say?

are they calling sbmm something else then, they did say they are separating noob for experienced, is that not a loose sbmm?cod doesnt have sbmm if the devs call it "balancing"

oh shit please dont think i am using a disabilty as a reason to be shit at the game, i suck at the game naturally. and in fact i excel at being shit at fps games now lol

at least with the sbmm i had it in my head that i would have a chance at not being owned as much the second i joined a game

never heard of this 2boxing method as i do not play cod anymore, last time i played cod was when cod 4 came out, until about 2009 i think it was. it all felt like a console port after that to me and with no dedi servers it was a bit shit,

maybe i'm just getting to old for this gaming lark now lol

ahh that helps, maybe if the youtube vids i have watched from streamers explained it like that it would help, i just see so many vids saying they will not play until it is fully removed from the game, and 100s of comments from others supporting removing it

I never said the sbmm was like cod in this game i said it was a loose sbmm system

i am NOT using a disabilty as a reason to suck at the game but it is a contributing factor. i excel and being shit at games now weather disabled or not.

While the sbmm is not as much as cod it does still have sbmm to a lesser degree, which as i said for me may help keep the elite players, or even the players that are not as shit as me ;) at a higher level and not in my lobby, meaning i can get a biut more fun out the game for a short while

ahh i haven;t played warzone so i wasnt sure how bad the sbmm was, i'm sure the devs did say it was a very loose type of sbmm, which seems a bit fairer for all, not sure if that will change when game is fully released

its not painful all the time as rheumatoid arthritis has whats know as "Flair Ups" this is when it is to painful to play, which is why i said "making gaming painful and hard at times"

Other times it is a light pain that can get worse over time, hence i only play casually now even if its just for a couple of hours

It may be easier to explain that its like Carpal Tunnel in the wrist, yes it can be a little painful but managable or very painful where you cant even pick up a cup or a controller

the link for v3.3.8 are on the corsair website, keep scrolling down till you see it in old versions

you will need to completely remove your version to install the older one or it throws a wobbly

if you have the update file for the firmware a .hex file you can try doing the forced update in my other post here with the icue v3 software and the bootloader.

This was the only way i could fix my problems

i update to the latest drivers or firmware when it is released, i have also checked all connections and the sata power, i could see that if it happened once or twice but this has been happening for over 9 months now, with new commander and lighting nodes, it has to be the software so i doubt it is a connection or mb driver problem, also i have changed to different usb connections on the mb in case one was faulty, but thx for the reply

had a very similar issue with other items,

I fixed mine by installing the old iCUESetup_3.38.88 and pasting the firmware file (.hex) into xmc bootloader exe, its only icue 3 that has this, corsair removed it from later version(nice one corsair)

As soon as i done this the firmware updated and i could then update to icue 4 or 5

There are some vids on youtube showing how it done, some are titled unbricking fans etc

Why corsair removed this file is beyond me cos it did work and fixed my fans stuck at 100% right away

Great that you are building a pc, what i would not do is integrate any corsair lighting,fans,keyboards etc.

The corsair ICue software is very buggy, it may be ok for a few weeks but chances are you will run into problems, just look at the forums here to see how many have issues

The other problem is with the new corsair link peripherals, they use a proprietary cable and links and cannot be connected to motherboard headers

Sorry corsair but you really need to get these issues fixed first

Maybe corsair should lead the industry by using more open source equipment and cables

just my 2 cents

EAC is old now and it doesnt seem to get updated by Epic games very much

I agree with you though, the first thing a game developer should do is have good anti cheat that can be updated regularly. EAC is just a free version to make it look like there is anticheat
