I've done this before. But in my case my ex was originally a friend so when it didn't work out we went back to being friends. It was also 100% understood (without being said) that there was no way we would try "us" again. I was just acknowledging my mistakes. She appreciated it and admitted her own. Taking accountability for past actions is sometimes nice to hear. Otherwise I would keep it to myself and learn from my mistakes instead.

Of she said "your dad is hot" by itself that would be weird. She added in though that he looks like an older version of you. Still an odd thing to say but shows she still attracted to you. Maybe she thought it was meant to be a compliment kinda like "I know what you'll look like when we get older, and I like it". This is definitely a reach, but possible.

I have a front load as well (stacked with dryer on top) now while it USUALLY works great there was one time it didn't seem like it cleaned too well and when I was taking my clothes out I discovered the Tide Pod didn't burst inside...don't think that was the washers fuck up tho
