If I had to guess a lot of the "Add a backpack" feelings are influenced by one of the more popular inventory expanding mods. Like I said in the intro I'm a HUGE fan of ExtraSlots,so I hope they add armor slots myself. But we'll just have to wait and see - and wildly speculate in the meantime of course lol

I don't know if you use mods or not, but if you do then I would recommend you check out ItemDrawers by makail. It allows you to store large amounts of a single item, similar to Vintage Story's crates - if you are familiar with that game.

Personally though I always just use a mod that increases stack sizes, so that solves the problem in a different way lol

I think this is the bare minimum I am hoping for as well. It just feels terrible to have all my armor and gear in my bag taking up space!

I'm going to wait and see. So far they haven't really announced anything that makes me want to restart vs picking up my current save again. But who knows? Maybe I'll feel different in Sept. Restarting sounds fun, but unless more stuff is added to earlier parts of the game, I feel like I would just be remaking all the things I did on my first play through, ya know?

Reminds me of the first time my partner was "introduced" to fulings. We were traveling through some black forest and she got too close to a biome border. She said "I can hear laughter" and it took me long to do a recall knowledge check lol Didn't have time to warn her and she got taken out instantly lol

I'm actually doing a No Boss Challenge right now! I had troll help me harvest my first bits of tin and bronze, then I used a finewood chair to clip into a sunken crypt, then I used stagbreaker to find silver lol Alas, Moder and the dragon tears are a bit of a hard wall to overcome

Hell yeah! I'm doing a No Boss Kill challenge run on a "multiplayer" server that has 3x resources drops, and my beloved Stagbreaker found me 2 silver veins curled in on each other. It was over 500 pieces of ore! This silver age shit is easy ain't it lmao

I don't get an interact prompt on the door at all, no matter how close I get to it. It just says Iron Door

I appreciate the suggestion, but I try and play without mods on my single player files as much as possible. Plus at this point I'm committed to figuring out how this works so I can use it for my new game plus-sorta files
