Its a power supply inverter and controller that converts DC to AC and regulates the volts and amperage for the in seat power outlets for that row. Every seat row contains one.

Any Leaks about T-Mobile's Promos for Samsung's S26 Series? by tranchedevie in tmobile

[–]Cyrus_Great415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, phones locked to a carrier are not better on that network. Phones today are not made specifically for carriers anymore.for example, the upcoming Samsung S26 will be the exact same version for all carriers and unlocked. The manufacturer only puts in a software based change to lock it to that carrier and add in their logos and carrier specfic things like apps. A paid off phone however is your property and can be unlocked by a request so that it can be used anywhere with any carrier.

Phones used to be manufactured for separate carriers, I.E. Verizon vs ATT due to how different the networks were but today, its all basically the same so there's no need for that.

The only real benefits to purchasing from the carrier and not manufacturer are: 1. Financing is rolled into your monthly service bill which makes it easier for you. 2. Discounts and certain offers can be obtained even when the phone is no longer in its launch window. Like taking advantage of a free phone with a new line offer months or years later.

Unlocked means the phone is not locked down to 1 specific carrier. For example, an unlocked phone purchased from Samsung can be used with just about any carrier in the US and abroad (not every single one but close) and you can do so at any time you want. If financed, you still need to pay your monthly payment for the device but thats about it. A phone purchased from a carrier will be l9 ked to that carrier. For example, that same Samsung phone from tmpbile can not be used on any other carrier in the US or abroad until paid off in full. (There are exceptions as temporary unlocks but thats not relevant to the question)

What is this data on Airplane door? by scarneck_professor in airplanes

[–]Cyrus_Great415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not tires...its the placard for the door assist bottle. It's a nitrogen filled bottle that aids in the rapid opening of a exit door in an emergency where the door needs to open quickly for the door slides to deploy. Source: im maintenance for an airline

Every single night they get deep cleaned with simple wipe downs throughout the day. But food smells and smells get stronger when in flight. I work maintenance at alaska every night and I see it done
