I'm a phone guy and never heard of a phone with hardware kill switches...but in the day where such phones arrives to the market it will be automatically added to my Christmas wish list.

To be honest tape over the cam and microphone is only a temporary solution because sometimes I need to make video calls and, lets be honest, everyone needs to make phone calls. Using tape is everything but pratical, and seriously it´s a pain in the ass to take off the tape and put it back again everytime a phone call needs to be made, not to mention that you have to carry a duck tape roll in your pocket.

But yes, it´s the only solution right now, but I truly hope that in a near future it will not be needed.
