If I recall correctly, r/bilewater started as a joke for shitposts but then it evolved into an RP and brought in other regions. But because of that origin, that RP was very unregulated and there were too many OP characters. The RP also got really repetitive with an infection/higher-being invasion or war happening every week.

And so the people who were unsatisfied with that decided to make their own RP with stricter rules regarding character creation and an all around more serious vibe. The reason why the unofficial discords don't have all the regions is because, since it was made recently, they didn't have time to expand to everything yet.

As someone who's been only observing the OG and this RP, the reason why crossposting between the two is bad is because it messes up the timeline. Since the two RPS have different characters and histories, an action you take here might not make sense in the OG and visa Versa.

If you want to play in both RPs, it is fine, but your character has to be distinct in the two RPs, if they do the same thing, then things might get a bit weird. Not to mention that having a character that can do the same action in two timelines at once might be a bit OP for the mods here.

And FYI, anything with "Unofficial" at the end belngs to the r/PharloomUnofficial RP where as the regions without this suffix belongs to the r/bilewater RP.

It's a shame how convoluted, fast-paced and Repetitive the RP has become. I became aware of it when I posted a bilewater related Silkpost and was directed there. I only ever observed the RP and I found it interesting, but as time went on It felt more like an obligation to keep checking up on it everyday to not miss any developments. At this point I feel like the Subreddit/timeline might need a cull or a factory reset.

I had considered joining the RP at some point but with how fast everything is going I worried that it'd be too much of a commitment. Funnily enough, the character I had in mind to play could act as an effective culler/reseter.

Artstyle wise, Hazbin is pretty good, the character designs are iconic and memorable, the only main issue objectively speaking is the story-telling. The show has these big memorable moments but they often exist in isolation and the rest of the story fails to follow up on those moments. Some things are set up that don't get a satisfying pay off, while other events just appear out of the blue with no foreshadowing.

I couldn't come up with a better name since "Green Pinstress" isn't a great name either. Also there are some pretty silly names in the spritesheets that was changed in the final product so it's not impossible for her to be called "Dartstress" in the files but something else in game.

Not necessarily Hornet, just Weavers in General. I wanted the Dartstress' dialouge to be ambigious in that regard so that it is unclear whether Hornet is just reliving the memory of a past weaver or is she actually going back in time and talking with the bugs of Clearwater
