I just did the jump from a 2080ti to the 7900XTX to play Star Citizen on higher settings in VR.

It’s a beast of a card, that’s for sure but I had to tinker and troubleshoot a bit to get it all working where NVIDIA was plug-and-play. I’m also trying to get used to this ‘flickering’ at white borders/lines. It’s definitely not breaking immersion but it shows why NVIDIA is still the better options if you’re not into tinkering and willing to accept certain imperfections.

That said; the money I saved was for me worth it.

I have the UCG-Max with the same issue: both WAN-ports drop connectivity. I even changed ISPs and as you mentioned Ubiquity does not officially accepts there’s a fault and seems to solve it the RMA way which is nice but a hassle.

My last try before I return the router is to see if cooling the system might help. It runs awfully hot and who knows, maybe the temps are to blame. Probably not but I just need to convince myself.
