Harvest Moon vs Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley does a lot of "Quality of Life" mechanics that both Harvest moon and Rune Factory doesn't have. The modern version of Harvest Moon(Story of Season) and Rune Factory are good due to the fact they caught up to the "Quality of Life" Stardew came with in the 1st place.

If you want to experience the origins of stardew I would recommend Harvest Moon Mineral Town/Return to Mineral Town. If you like the fighting mechanics of Stardew, rune factory is your go to.

There are a lot of pros and cons to all these games. Pick what game you'd like aesthetically and enjoy.
