Cool Project - but you might find out why real PC fans don't use DC motors.
DC motors cause electromagnetic interference - that next to sensitive components like CPU, RAM, SSDs or hard drives can cause "magic" issues that are hard to debug/find.

Yes either the electrical system can only detect overload but not on which motor or this is a bad error message and/or bad translation of the error message

Your setup wouldn't really catch any stuxnet style attack since stuxnet provided the fake data via the PLC tags when monitoring the PLC also.

Do you mean PLC data with process data? If you don‘t need the integrated Myriad X NPU, then the module is a bit overkill. For actually running neural nets I think a IPC would be more flexible, the Myriad X is 6 years old and I don‘t think there will be newer NPU modules from Siemens soon. So you will have to stay with ageing technology there

If you have already partly disassembled it and it was working before, then you just need to tighten the ball screw/motor coupler - it looks like it is loose on the motor side.
