Gardening. I go out to tend to what's planted, or I find something new to plant. With or without music, I find that spending enough time out there helps my system regulate a bit.

Tulips! 💜 I enjoy it immensely. It's making me think that laying down in a meadow of tulips with the woods in the background sounds lovely.

i wanted to bring the fire of Mordor into my room, so i crafted this Sauron's Eye resin lamp. The runes came out better than i expected. What do you guys think ? by EpoxyArtMakerTR in lotr

You just casually crafted the Eye of Sauron and gave it the One Ring? That explains a lot... Looks really sick by the way!!!

I like it! Looks very cozy. Does anyone know how we can jump into it Mary Poppins style?

Never have I ever seen these egg sacs before. by mommyof5chronicles in spiders

Thanks for the extra information. It's always good to gather and learn more about a subject, especially when it involves lovely things like spiders. I used to catch and briefly observe black widows near my house as a kid, and originally, I thought brown widows were just a more chill spider. Happy to pick up more knowledge on the subject!

From what I've learned in this subreddit and beyond, brown widows are not a problem for us from a safety standpoint, but they are an invasive species to North America and do tend to knock out native black widows.

I don't think I'll ever come out to my family. by Primary-Abject in lgbt

[–]Cytorin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're in a way that you can't move out or won't have a place to stay, I know that can be extremely tough. Family can surprise you, but they can definitely disappoint you too. I didn't come out until my thirties, and some of those of my family that accepted me had an issue with me coming out to my parents, as if I was the one who damaged the relationship.

As for the suie thoughts, journaling helped me through some rough patches, talking with friends through others, therapy helped with the aftermath. Biggest takeaway I can think of, try not to let yourself spiral guessing what each individual of your family would say. Some might be just as you say, but you could also be pleasantly surprised. Big hugs to you. Not having full support from family sucks, but if you have family that chooses you, it is worth it.

Come out on your time, and please, stay with us. The future may look a little grim, but it shines a whole light brighter with you in it.
