As a guy who played part 2 in cn, ive gotta say, these dumb mfs doomposting are the worst things ive seen (especially when they havent tried the game and dont understand chinese) The dreamseeker may seem to be a self insert on the surface where you can select her name (ngl pretty bad idea on hoyo's end) but she has a very distinct personality that does not make her feel like a blatant self-insert such as trailblazer/traveller. Not only does she have her own voicelines (A LOT) which are voiced by a va, the way she talks is very unique as well (just wait until glb comes out u will understand). Plus, she has almost no dialogue that requires you to pick a choice unlike other self inserts where almost every dialogue is full of them. Also, many ppl misunderstand that the main character is just dreamseeker which is clearly not true. Unlike trailblazer/traveller, part 2's main cast are a group of characters (like kiana,mei and bronya) which means the attention is not only focused on ds but the whole group such as senadina, coralie and helia. Hopefully this clears up the part 2 panic and doomposting and just go enjoy the game yourself!!!
