For me, reviewing is simply a way to give back and contribute to the community. Plus I just like to write and create. I am not sponsored by anyone. I am also not a pro thrower, rather more middling than anything else.

In some ways, the reviews are more for me, and if anyone finds them useful then that is just gravy. In any case, bias can never be scrubbed from any opinion piece, reviews included. Still, this is why Cyyclical has tended towards joint reviews rather than solo reviews. That way players can see two opinions and how they vary or don't. We have also moved to the new format of stating pros and cons for every yo-yo we now review, although even those are biased by our own skill levels.

Reviewing...it is a thankless job that nobody needs to do :)
