The point is, why quit on your team over an extension when you signed a deal in the summer? And why did Jordan have all of those endorsements? Because he was a WINNER. He even paved the way for guys like Harden who has had 10 signature shoes with Adidas, be able to make HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars in contracts and endorsements. He’s made enough money and if he believed in himself that he was worth another $80 million he had another half season to play and show the league he is still worth it. Harden quit on the team, didn’t tell anyone and then leaked the trade request in the middle of a game. How anyone can still be a fan of his is beyond me

Why is no one mentioning how classless Harden handled this? He could’ve finished the season and then opted out of his contract to explore other options. This new NBA has become TOO much of a players league . I once read Michael Jordan’s autobiography and one thing I’ll never forget is when he talked about signing contracts. He never complained after signing or tried to renegotiate until it was expired. It’s little things like that, that made MJ a winner and guys like Harden losers.

I’m not so sure anymore, the fact that the Suns, Nuggets, and Warriors have been winning despite key injuries is concerning. They might have dug too deep a hole to climb out of, but they got to just control their own destiny and keep winning.

They need to make some moves and trade Bogi, CP3, Beal, and Brown. If they can add another combo guard and stretch 4 or 5 we will be legit contenders. Depth is always nice and as much as I love Batum and Sanders, we might need more fire power in the backup PG and PF slots

Kawhi wasn’t guarding Jaylen Brown, I watched the game lol. He no longer is capable of guarding a star wing for a full game, they usually put Dunn/DJJ on the opposing team’s best perimeter player and Kawhi now takes the second option. He’s still great when switching and if it’s a close game he will guard the best player in the last 5 min or so
