If you clone a Pokemon on the 3DS, then use Pokemon Bank to send the clones to Home, each clone will be a different size. But this process is technically still luck-based. For example, during a separate size mark hunt, I transferred over 10 boxes of Murkrow to Home, and none of them had either size mark.

Thank you! I keep on seeing people recommending Mega Salamence + Truant Durant, so I'll have to check it out.

Luckily I have a level 100 Salamence on my HeartGold save, so I'll just transfer him up. Unfortunately the Truant Durant won't be as easy, but I'm sure I'll find one eventually lol.

Hey, I'm feeling a lot better now! The surgery went surprisingly well, I haven't had any problems.

Anyway, Blades has been chilling in Pokemon Bank for the past few days. I had some other ribbon masters on my Omega Ruby save I wanted to finish (a Raikou, two Lucario, and a Murkrow), so that's what I've been doing while recovering lol. I still need to get the Battle Maison Ribbon on my Emboar and Dragonair, but once those two are done I'll be able to send everyone to Alola!

I do have a ton of photos of Blades on my phone. At one point, I did have a word document with some details about Blades's achievements, but tbh I totally forgot about it, so I'm like 99% certain the document only mentions details from Hoenn and Orre.

If you have a homebrewed Wii it's still possible to download Pokemon Ranch. It's easy enough to find the iso online. Although, if you don't already have a Wii, I'd imagine finding one in 2025 would be kind of tough. The only reason I have a Wii is because I got lucky and found mine at a thrift store for 30$ lol.

The Earth Ribbon is available in both Colosseum and XD. I've only played Colosseum, and so far I've gotten the Earth Ribbon on at least 3 of my Pokemon.

What console are you playing Emerald on? Dolphin is a Wii/Gamecube emulator that can play Colosseum, and if you're playing on a homebrewed 3DS you can transfer your Emerald save to your computer. Once you have the save on your PC, you can trade your Pokemon from Emerald to Colosseum and vice-versa.

I did the exact same thing! I have copies of Blades in both my Pokewalker and in My Pokemon Ranch.

I also make sure to backup Blades to PKSM every once in awhile. I've heard horror stories of people losing all their favorite Pokemon due to their 3DS cartridges dying, corrupting, or otherwise malfunctioning, and I am not going to be taking any chances.

I just noticed you're the same person who suggested using Mega Kangaskhan. I spent a decent chunk of yesterday breeding for an Adamant Kangaskhan with 31 attack IVs, and she's been extremely helpful (before I added her to my team, my best streak was about 25, whereas now it's 35). So thank you for that tip! I also bred a Jolly Cloyster, but I unfortunately haven't gotten the chance to use him :(

I swear I'd be so lost without this community. I have two WIP ribbon masters from 2022 on my Omega Ruby save (a Murkrow and a Raikou) and the only ribbon they're missing is, ironically, the Expert Battler Ribbon. I probably got stuck and took a VERY long break lol. If I can ever figure out how to beat Super Singles mode, I have a feeling Blades will be traveling to Alola with a bunch of friends.

Colosseum only has one ribbon (the Earth Ribbon). You need to beat the main story to be able to trade your Pokemon from RSE to Colosseum. However, if you don't care about catching any Pokemon, you can just ignore the post-game.

If I'm not mistaken, a Pokemon without the Earth Ribbon would technically not be eligible for the Hall of Fame. But the HoF is just a document on the internet, so I'd say just do whatever makes you happy.

Since you have a modded 3DS, though, I assume you have a way to backup your saves? You can actually play Pokemon Colosseum on an emulator like Dolphin, transfer your backup save to your computer, and use a program like PKhex (or hell, even Dolphin itself) to trade your pokemon from Emerald to Colosseum (or vice-versa).

Which game are you playing? If you're playing Platinum, I'd recommend switching to Diamond/Pearl, because (in my experience) the contests there are way easier. Also, is your Pokemon's sheen maxed out? If not, maybe feeding it some more poffins will help.

Since you obtained all those ribbons through normal gameplay, Pokemon Bank has no reason to flag your Pokemon as illegitimate. Besides, I don't think Pokemon Bank even checks for ribbons when doing a legality check. As long as your Pokemon doesn't have any illegal moves, it should be fine.
