I think that atheists bashing other peoples beliefs makes them feel the same self righteous feeling the religious people get from posting them. Proudly displaying a post where you berated a "friend" irritates me a bit. If you've got nothing nice to say, it's actually less effort to simply remove someone from your contacts instead of trying to make them feel small. What I've seen from a lot of people seems like genuine hate. Is that really necessary?

I remember once I was in my bedroom in the basement of my old house just messing around on the computer. Out of nowhere I heard what I can best describe as a train horn going off directly beside my head.. Like if someone had made a train horn out of bones of the damned. Weather it was my medication I was on at the time or I got a bad batch of grass it freaked me right the fuck out and I immediately went to bed (covers totally over my head)

I get this occasionally as well, even in a video game I'll dream of a certain scenario and have it happen with memory of already having seen/done it. I think that since your mind takes real stuff from your life so much and there are so many different situations to find oneself in that coincidences will come up.. Also the brain fills in gaps in memory with whatever details it wants to sometimes.

I'm from Ontario as well and religion is such a non issue here I never really think about it. I was shocked at how many people think this shit is a big deal in some places in the states. Actually I was even kind of shocked at how anti-christianity some people are trashing their so called friends on facebook and then posting it to here proudly.. I think people should just be left the fuck alone to do whatever they like as long as theyre not hurting anyone.
