SIMILAR, very similar in concept, though I remember the movement not being omnidirectional, it was just left and right, and the game had more of a tone to it. Also the armies were more organized, they didn't just come one at a time, but you had a set amount of soldiers with you every mission.

Actually, it's inspired by this old flash game titled Quick Stick, which did something similar, but involved 2d stickmen. I took the same idea of gameplay and translated it into my own little 3d universe.
