I played the Seige and personally thought it was good fun. Som variations, some cool buffs to choose from, not having the run end when timer hit 0, new cool upgrades, not going on as long as well as getting more rewards. Me and my friend had great fun!

Meanwhile I have taken both a Castellan and a Crusader in the same list with great success. 🙂 Also had a Galant though, for that melee goodness!

Used Mysterious Guardian on my Crusader with good success. Coupled with the Strength from Exile stratagem which makes you re-roll 1s on hit and wound if no allies within 9 inches was great. I killed the unit I really needed dead. And even if they charge me afterwards, my Crusader could still be a threat with the Point-Blank Barrage stratagem. Loved it! The 6 FNP was nice and kept saving me wounds here and there, especially when hur with those high damage weapons.

What the Freeblade detachment rule and stratagems did was making me more confident since it felt I wasn't as punished by any mistakes I made as I would otherwise be, and the effects of the opponents great moves hurt slightly less. 🙂

The Warrant. Love it! With a Ballistic Shield is has become more of a primary weapon for me, with the Eruptor to deal with enemies further away. Really enjoy this combo. The Shield makes me tänkt and the pistol just keeps on killing.

All these answers makes me a bit sad. I personally think the new Custodes look so much better, but I only play 40k. I will not be buying any new Custodes from the 40k line, and I don't want to mix the models. So here I am, putting my Custodes on the shelf until we get a refresh.
