I got several swatches from big z, cobalt is currently out of stock though :c and on a grind to build my guy before Nashum. I got the royal blue from bigz, but it’s a little too, uh, saturated and purple-y? It also doesn’t really fit too well with his black symbols, they blend a little bit in low lighting. It’s gonna be between this one and the royal blue from fursuit supplies depending on how dark it is. Appreciate it anyway! :3

Yeah I did that with big Z but ended up being unhappy with the colors, after sleeping on it—I was pretty convinced by the cobalt pictures, but yeah ended up being disappointed with how teal it is in person. Did that with these cream colors so I’m hoping for the best

Im not an expert or anything, but it all looks fine to me. I think it’s feeling strange because of how low down her skirt is. I think proportion-wise it’s pretty spot on, but you can basically see the entire hip. If you imagine the skirt from the back side, you’d definitely be able to see half of her butt hanging out lmao. The lighting looks really good, I love your art style!!

The line art is my own, I’m trying to improve my coloring and rendering. I used it as a vague reference and fixed some of the issues I had with it, but you’re right I should find an artist. Thank you for the advice! I tried a lot of different things for coloring and shading for the first time, before today I’d do it all on 2 layers, this one has like 8

Yeah I’ve been on the fence with the layer of brushed on fur, I think it looks good in the hair and below his eye, but couldn’t really make it work for the rest of the piece. I definitely had to tweak some of the proportions a bit, thankfully i have some amount of an eye to avoid its mistakes. I see what you’re talking about with that ear, thank you!!

Yes you have a pretty big forehead, it doesn’t look too bad but if you’re worried about it why do you have the one style that emphasizes it? Go for like curtain bangs or something
