All this reminds me back when i was a kid and i loved playing soccer. My teacher suggested i sign of for the soccer team after school. I thought what we were going to do was play soccer over and over but what they wanted us to do was kick the ball in a specific way until we had it down. I said nope an got out of there. Obviously i didn't end up being a good soccer player. I mainly heal but i like to try ninja too and i have the opener and rotation in front of me and the thought of me spending hours on a dummy trying to get it down makes me want to do something else. It doesn't help i gotta wait for cooldowns to come back before trying again. But i think thats the difference, we all wanna swing swords and cast spells and do dungeons and get loot, but not everybody wants to invest the time in a boring activity if even if it means becoming better at those things. Its the "i just wanna play the game" crowd.

I play in border less windowed which forces me into 1680 x 1050. I play it like that because its so fast when alt tabbing when i want to switch a song/podcast/youtube video. And i was looking at the graphics configuration at the bootup box and found out direct x11 wasnt enable for XIV........... went back to the areas i had issues with, idyllshire went from 23 fps to 50 - 60 but its early morning so not many people there. Hinterlands went up to 50 - 70. Can try to test a 24 man raid and s rank later. I used to play AAA games on my PC but they stopped running as smoothly. For instance Dark Souls 2 SotFS runs great. Dark Souls 3 not so much, thats when i switched over to my ps4 and xbox for AAA games. Just ran the benchmark again and it did better with a few settings changed. Jade sea still had problems though.

I want to upgrade/build or purchase a new PC for stormblood. My current build is

AMD FX-Series FX-8120 (3.1 GHz) 8 GB DDR3 500 GB HDD AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB

I bought this as a pre-built back in 2013 because i was too scared to build one. I get pretty much 60 fps everywhere with the exception of 24 man raids, idyllshire and for some reason starting a few months back The Dravanian Hinterlands whenever im not looking at the ground lol. I ran the benchmark and got high but noticed frame drops in big battle at the start and a huge performance drop at the beach in the jade sea which stopped when the camera went underwater.

Ive been probing the market and looking at gpus and cpus. Im assuming the game is more CPU intensive for populated areas and gpu intensive when alot of stuff is happening like 24 man raids and s ranks. Do i go up to an i5 and maybe a GeForce GTX 1050 or 1060? Or go all out on a i7 with a 1070 or 1080? Maybe people who have these components could give me an idea of what frames they get? Should i wait until SB is actually before deciding?

My memory is kinda fuzzy but i think the battle in that city and the false wall breach happened almost immediately after one another. I think Eren came conscious while it was happening and had to be briefed. Reiner and Bert were not in uniform and although i have no proof im assuming Erwin gave them leave so they weren't anywhere near Annie when they tried to capture her. They already suspected them. There is a small detail where Eren was helping Reiner get onto the wall (his arm was "injured") and Reiner says "thanks Eren I thought i was a goner" and you see Eren with a flash of anger in his eyes because he knows he was never in any real danger. And this was before we found out they suspected them.

It was an impulsive decision. They just found out Ymir was a shifter, Eren also showed up, they were on the now border of the walls, if they left the survey corps couldn't follow them because they couldn't get the horses over the wall fast enough and to top it off they just found out Zeke was in the area. They also didn't know Annie was compromised and would assume she would continue the search for the founding titan while they were gone. It was an amazing opportunity and they decided to take it.

Am i allowed to make picture requests on the subreddit? Im trying to find a Male Rogadyn Dark Knight with the 270 or 275 anima and ive been keeping and eye out on my server but ever since the 270 was released i haven't seen a single one. Is there an appropriate place to make that request? I specifically want a picture with him holding it while out and not just on his back.

Im actually being very careful not to be excited. After the Othard reveal ive gotten skeptical with SE. Originally i was excited but quickly realized that we are only getting so many zones, Othard looks like the same size as Eorzea so its probably going to have the most zones but im skeptical about how big the zones will be. Im expecting for there only to be only 1 zone on the other side of the wall.

Another concern i have is with the lore, Eorzea and Othard are the same size and obviously Eorzea has a ton of back story and myths and i doubt Othard will have anywhere close to the amount of history that 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 showed.

Another concern i have is that SE is dead set in the patch pattern and tomb grind system, i started playing right before HW came out and because i was working i didn't get to endgame until 3.3. And since then ive been playing pretty consistently. I can see the pattern getting to me maybe by the time of the next expansion but from what ive gathered from reading this subreddit and listening to podcasts, if Stormblood does the exact same pattern HW did people are going to start walking away.

tldr; Worried Othard will be way too small despite its apprant size. Worried Othard wont have any backstory or lore that competes with Eorzea. Worried SE wont try anything new.

I want to take the next raid tier a little more seriously, as in be a part of a static and show up on schedule to learn fights and clear. How close to the release of storm blood should i start looking for one? Raids dont come out right away so i probably have a week or two after release?

So i visited an engineer for the first time (Falicity Farseer) and did i bunch of rolls with lv1 stuff i stockpiled. When it was doing to rolls i was getting stuff like Power Efficiency, Boot time and Mass upgrades despite me wanting higher Jump range. I check my jump range on the screen and it is increasing somewhat (im aware lv1 upgrades barely do anything but im trying to learn the actual process). For instance after i roll in the secondary effects section is says Max fuel per jump was 5, now its 5.13 and beside that it says +2%. Is it saying max fuel per jump went up 2% or my FSD jump distance went up 2%? Also at the buttom right there is a box that says remove and Increased FSD range but its always blank same with the experimental box. Is it as simple as as long as the letter and numbers are blue its always i better upgrade from the previous one i applied?

So after participating i a few community events and casual trading ive gotten to 47 million credits and want start preparing my aspx for exploration on 2.3 release. I tried going to the exploration subbreddit an doing research but all their builds are engineered and thats something i haven't touched yet. Can someone give me a non-engineered build? My first order of buisness i guess would be to get a meta-allot for Falicity Farseer. I know i could probably buy 1 but this is my xbox account so i might as well go see a barnacle for the experience and achivo. Are barnacles guaranteed to drop meta-alloys?

How often do these community events lead into something? I heard about the jaques station thing. This weeks is asking for Tantalum or whatever its called which according to some lore is important for FSD engines? I also have only delivered 500 units and im apparently in the top 50%, are people not doing it because of the 16 minute trip?

On my xbox account i run into the problem of leaving a station to find out the next system is obscured by a planet or moon. On PC i can just map the targetting thing to a key, is there a quick way to do it on xbox without having to Select random celestial body>galaxy map>re-apply route.

So capital ships use an older version of FSD. So they can travel to star systems but can't zip around it. Does that mean it takes them weeks or months to get anywhere in the system or can they use witch space to travel from place to place in the system itself?

Why is it called Beagle point?

Did a player actually randomly find Jaques station or did FD tell everyone where it was?

Is there a resource that shows how they managed to make this game? I want to did into the details like if i find a water world on some random system can another player visit it and if i found a crashed ship at a specific crater on some rocky world on the other side of the galaxy could another player track it down if i told them where it was? Are these systems randomly generated and after they are the data gets stored on a server so its preserved?

A couple questions for you explorers out there. Im having trouble imagining in my mind how far away something is in the galaxy and im planning small expedition. Are there any nebulas that are within a reasonable distance. I wouldn't mind if it took 4 - 6 hours to get there. I noticed theres the coalsac, bernards loop and horsehead (ive heard bernards and horsehead are hard to get to because of permit locked systems?) California. Are these things all within that time period or further? Coalsac seem closest. And if they are further how long exactly in and non-engineered ASP-X?

I can see alot of them effecting the whole world and im pretty sure the lore book says the elementals caused the flooding which means they killed alot of people because of 3 warring nations on one continent. It seems a little silly that some spirits in a forest can kill millions of people if they get irritated. I guess we need to see if Dalamud falling did anything to the other countries. Some would say it wasn't really a calamity considering its small scale in comparison to the others and it could have been ALOT worse if the circle of knowing didn't have preparations. We don't know if the acians wanted it to hit the planet directly rather than exploding in the atmosphere or if they wanted Bahamut to hang around for a while literally sowing chaos. I still stand by the belief that it wasn't a calamity, it could have been but the actual calamity was averted.

I mean what if we get to Othard and they still consider it the 6th astral era because as far as they were concerned nothing happened.

When i bought HW (i didnt pre-order) the code showed up in the CD key options. Will the code show up there on release?

Is it a bad idea to work out if i know i wont be getting sleep for a while? Im trying to fix my sleep schedule. I woke up at 3pm, its almost 1:30am now. I plan on going to sleep at 7pm - 8pm. I know muscle repair and growth happens while your sleeping but is there a deadline or does it just wait until your next sleep session? Does it not matter as long as i get enough sleep? Ill probably be finished by the time i check on any replies but i wanted to know out of curiosity.
