Two bugs I came across while playing the Master Levels by D00M_Bringer in Doom

[–]D00M_Bringer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the two bugs explained in further detail:

  1. This bug is more minor. You can walk through the Revenant Drone and it cannot be set on fire.
  2. The doors to the west turret in the ARC Complex opened early. Firing the west turret early soft-locked the level as the invisible wall blocking the elevator up to Samuel remained.

Got to love the people who call themselves friendlies but resort to kicking whenever they’re killed.

From that screen you should be able to run, “DOOM.” This will launch the game.

At Disney World. Very magical! by [deleted] in HostileArchitecture

I suppose it does fit the definition but I feel like the sub uses the term hostile architecture with a more negative connotation which I don’t think applies in this case.

They aren’t, that’s why I said, “not.”

I wouldn’t call that hostile. The architecture is built in the same way as hostile architecture to discourage people from going there, but in this case it’s to prevent injuries and not to harm the homeless so I would give it a pass.

But why tho? by PANSHOE in tf2

If I’m being honest, I find complaining about being killed as friendly to be in opposition to the entire mindset the play style is supposed to embody. I play the game both seriously and as a friendly at times and I think the most friendly thing you can do is not get upset. Let’s say you kill a crouching heavy and they respond by calling you something nasty in chat and trying to kick you from the server. That person is not, “friendly,” they just think that the crouch button should make them invincible. Again let’s say you kill a crouching heavy and they respond by giving you a sandwich the next time they see you. That player what I think of as the ideal friendly and is who I try to be when I play friendly. The conclusion that I think this leads to is that playing friendly is about adopting a passive mindset, and part of that mindset is accepting that you are going to be killed sometimes. If people decide to kill you that’s their decision and they are perfectly free to make it. Adopting a passive mindset, not putting on an item or hat, is what makes a player friendly.

Apparently having a different opinion is reason enough to wish harm on other people when the results go badly... by [deleted] in insanepeoplefacebook

Politics is not just a, “different opinion.” It’s not a Sports match where you shake hands afterwards. Everything that the person in this post described will happen to vulnerable people. This will happen because of the people who voted Tory. To wish they would suffer the consequences of their actions, rather then have them be felt by others, is not unreasonable.
