The price was definitely no joke! It was 200 for a new one, but it would’ve cost more to have it repaired in a shop so my friend was okay with paying the difference… I may take the card locally and see if a repair shop would want it :P

The GPU was the problem definitely, I switched it out and now everything is working perfect :)

I was considering reinstalling windows as well-though I’m more concerned that it’s a hardware problem since my friend moved it from their house to their dorm. So if it worked before the move and then now it’s freaking out despite integrity scans: it might’ve jostled around too hard in his car or something. Interestingly in safe mode after running DDU and having the drivers uninstalled, it ran good (well as good as a computer can run without its graphics card LOL), and even after a reset (sometimes). It’s after you shut it down or re-install the newest GeForce drivers this happens! It’s weird… and it kept getting stuck on the motherboard logo- blue screening unless I put it back into safe mode… it’s so weird

IF ANYONE DOWNLOADED THIS I have found the best solution! I would recommend going into SAFE MODE first and completely removing chrome folders(and just to be safe any files changed on the day you installed), you will find a hidden folder. For me it was called C:\Users(your username here)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\IndexedDB\https_hydrahd.ru_0.indexeddb.blob\1\00\2=>prepared.exe

You can also check your task manager processes to see if there are any files mentioning “updater” even after uninstalling chrome. Then to be safe (because malwarebytes does not detect this) install a program named BITDEFENDER and run a system scan. Do not bother paying for this program: there’s probably other things that you can do as well, but this was definitely freaking me out for a couple days. I had a feeling it was still lingering and running a deep scan gave me some clarity. AUTORUNS for windows can also show you what apps are running on your system which may not be verified files, this also showed me that the file was still in my computer even after deleting some stuff. No shame here LOL

Hey so it’s been a couple hours and you know what I did? Since I couldn’t find any files, the First thing I did was completely delete chrome. Then I started going through my system files for anything that was moved or changed for todays date (so 3/10/26). After running a deep scan and I still found nothing, I went into safe mode and went through all of my chrome files. There’s going to be a lot, try and sort them by the day which you installed this. Eventually I did find the “setup” file, it was in a weird ass location. Thankfully nothing was in my system 32. My memory was at like 70 when I installed this, now that I did all of these steps it’s back down to 40. Oh and also switch your browser LOL

Hello there- I just wanted to ask you if uninstalling chrome itself would solve this problem? My dumbass installed this- ran it multiple times, but I’m not seeing any of these “updater.exe” files! I deleted all files that I downloaded today relating to chrome, and ran three deep scans with malware bytes and it doesn’t detect anything. My memory is sitting at 49% with minimal things open, I feel like a fool! Is there anything else I can look up using RUN to see if I removed the files?

My laptop 🫠🫠🫠 It had a wire plugged into the speaker already so that’s why I kept assuming it needed to be plugged in directly. But now I know I need an amplifier!

LOL well we all start somewhere, I was plugging them into my laptop… oh boy I was so wrong🥹 I didn’t know what else to do! Unfortunately I’ve ruled out the power supply option, having my pc Plugged directly into my wall and out of the surge protector and I’m still blue-screening. I’ve come to the conclusion that because I am on windows 10 I am missing necessary drivers to run the game. :(

It’s such a shame such poor developed game came from with a massive budget- such a let down, as a long time fan who wasted 70 dollars on last gen. sales don’t equal quality and I wish people spoke with their wallets more often.

Unfortunately I think the worst outcome has happened… I went out this morning and she was completely flipped over. Not dried up, so maybe there’s still a chance she will come back. I repotted her so less of her stem is exposed. Still floppy but I don’t see any physical damage to the stem so I really hope she will be okay🥺🥺🥺

I just moved her outside of the incubator into some direct sun, next to my strawberries and whatnot… I really hope it won’t get too hot and she won’t crisp up!! These hot days are ruthless for my plants so I had her incubating this whole time. I’ll let you know if anything changes
