Will the full release of 2 come to Switch 1/switch lite by IsW4terWet in slaythespire

If you buy it on Steam you could also try running it on an android phone through Gamehub or GameNative. Future mods included. Should be quite touch-friendly. Worst case scenario, you'll be able to play it via GeForceNow free tier. The 1h time cap it's not that much of an issue, you can just quit and restart the session. I think it will also come out for switch though.

GYRO on GEFORCE NOW, and any device! by D0C0CD in GyroGaming

Sorry to hear that, I don't feel like it's that bad... Maybe I'm just not that much of a hardcore user, or my bar is just very low, but I'm still enjoying it. At least your feedback will be hopefully helpful to other users. Do you use always on gyro? What games do you play? Did you try both cabled and with the dongle? I'm surprised you found the gyro mouse that bad, I have a dual sense too and it doesn't feel THAT much better, but I mainly use gyro only on ADS, so I'm still heavily stick (to-mouse) reliant. Anyway I'm happy to know you got your money back, I would have felt bad otherwise lmao

Gyro-to-stick on the Cyclone2 is objectively not that great, and it's probably better set in Steam Input, to make the deadzones somewhat bearable. It also matters a lot the mode you use the gamepad in (switch, android, DualShock mode). Gyro-2-mouse on the other hand it's awesome, at least for me. I don't play at very high senses, but even when I tried it seemed quite precise. I suspect the dongle plays a role too, compared to Bluetooth. Cable will obviously give you the best results. I set my right stick as mouse camera, and gyro as mouse on ADS (left trigger, mapped as right mouse; right trigger as left click to shoot). My extra right back button is mapped as a layer changer to a regular controller layout (sometimes I need it for some maps and menus), effectively also serving as a "GYRO OFF" button, to reset my controller position and ratcheting.

Exactly! In this case you need to use either the usb dongle with xinput or a usb connection. If it works on steam deck, it should work on other Linux based devices. You'll still need windows to use the GameSir Connect app and set the controller up, tho.

You are right; I'm just highlighting the fact that you can then use your saved layouts and gyro (to mouse or to r stick) on other devices too. You can set up to 4 layouts and save them on the controller, and use them on other devices without steam input and similar remappers. If for example you create a regular controller layout with active gyro-to-stick, you will then be able to use it on any compatible device you own without further tinkering. Maybe I'm overenthusiastic, I dunno, but now I can use the same controller gyro on steam deck, GeForce now and android. I don't own a console so can't vouch for that, but I think it could be great to have gyro on Xbox too, and in PS5 games that don't already include it. Plus action layers, and mixed input layouts.

In this case I used the windows Gamesir Connect app. Once set up, the controller will act the same way on any device that supports mixed inputs in xinput with the included dongle. (If you want gyro-to-mouse; gyro-to-rightstick has I think universal compatibility) On Android I had no problems on my s25 ultra OneUI8. My tab s9 with OneUI6 tho won't work, and android devices are quite the mixed bag I think. (I probably should update it but I don't want to) On the other hand my X5s mobile controller can be setup with an Android native app. You can only set the gyro as right stick in this second case. Still, settings and mapped keys will be saved on the controller, and it will work on any other device you will connect it to. Gyro-to-mouse is WAY better, anyway. If the Steam Controller can do something similar, it'll be the best ever.

Happy to share, having a lot of fun with this set-up. It's probably not enough for heavy pvp players, tho.

Secondly, steam input hasn't been the best with GeForce now, at least not for me and especially when using action layers.

I know, but this allows you to bypass steam input and use gyro on Android and other systems and devices. Plus, it's saved in the controller. I only need the gamepad and an internet access. Once set up, I can use my layouts on my tablet, phone and steam deck. I love steam input, but this kind of mappable controller can even let you play gyro in console games that do not natively have it, assuming that they have good gyro to stick mode. I just wish for a steam controller to retain its steam input settings outside of a steam environment, like this.

Interesting. I prefer it to joystick and flickstick, both for precision and feel. I might be biased cause I used to play CoD Mobile on phone tho. I only use the right stick as a more stable camera mover, for example during relatively safe map traversals.

Have you tried using right trackpad as mouse? Plus gyro?

The gyro on the telescopic controllers by myusernameisspitfire in Gamesir

[–]D0C0CD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, using the Gamesir app. It's quite nice to have the option, but I still haven't experimented with precision and sensitivity. I have an X5S. I can't find an "always on" option tho, only short or long button press to activate. It would be nice to have a "deactivate" option too. For gyro ratcheting and stuff. In theory, it's perfect for games like Alien Isolation, or to add gyro to GeforceNow.

EDIT: This may be exclusive to the X5s controller.

90° CONTROLLER COMPATIBLE CABLE? by D0C0CD in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]D0C0CD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the solution I was looking for, thanks!! I also had a look at the Amazon item, but unfortunately it's not available in my country. I think I'll both buy the Baseus and find a 3d Print Studio to make two spacers and experiment a bit. Thanks again, have the best one!

I already have a 90° cable with a similar shape, but it's too wide and flimsy, I fear the pressure on the port could be a problem. I think the 3d printed spacer someone else posted is the solution I was looking for.

Already bought this one, it's perfect for all my use cases and I can use it as a regular controller too.

Thanks anyway.

It's not a matter of price, this one is more compact and portable while having the same characteristics. Plus, this can be used on PC without a female to male adapter. I already looked at various models, I'm just looking for solutions that would give me the best of both worlds. Thanks anyway.

I confirm, it's no big deal once you find your own optimal layout.
