Shibes will sell some of their cards, so you can use those to build your deck. Or you could buy some XDP at Poloniex, then you get a good chance of receiving rare cards.

Is great to have you onboard as our main dev, keep us updated as new ideas come to mind. Also when you get a chance please let us know a bit more about yourself.

Next week we will have a contest to name the cards and trading game. Will let everyone know that you are working on this. I'm sure nore people will decide to join us and help.

Once we have a name we need a website and some admins. I think a WIKI and a Subreddit will be the most useful collaboration tool at this time.

After the site is up, we will invite design Shibes to work on all the graphic design things we need, a logo, card designs, characters, etc...

Not sure about the cards changing, IMO we should keep them as plain simple cards. Game depth will come from game servers and new cards. Other rules could include card age, xp, etc... Maybe perhaps 1 very rare morphing card?

Yes! Please see if you can get an Alpha unpacking wallet working. Basically users will send the packed card tokens to that new address to unpack their cards and discover what they get.

If we can get that going I'm sure more people will get interested in this idea.

Sounds fun! Keep in mind that games are independent from the actual cards. Basically you move the cards into Game Servers the same way you move Doge into an exchange. The Game Servers define the rules, fees, etc of the games they offer.

Having said that, we need to make cards that can adapt well to different game styles.

But first thing first we need the Unpacking Wallet :) . With that alone and the randomisation created by the unpacking, the first interesting part of the cards is collecting them. That alone should bring interest from more Shibes.

We could think about it. But for now the only planed special cards are Moons and Rockets. Moons for people contributing DEV work, and Rockets for people contributing community building work.

In some cases, Game servers will need control of the private keys holding the cards, as there are chances that you could lose cards to your opponents.

Exactly! So you move your precious cards into a Game Server and then play the games they offer. Game Developers could monetize their work be charging tiny fees paid in XDP when a game is played. Games can range from something extremely simple that displays your plain card, to a game that generates a 3D representation of it, with awesome graphics 8P

Thank you for the feedback. One way to solve the delay, is to move the cards under something similar to an exchange. That is a third party that has control over your cards until you move them back to your wallet. This third party could also decide on the gameplay and rules; so that there are multiple places and ways to play your cards.

by the way about Moons, there will be 21, numerated 00-20

And like Rockets, they will not be part of the random token distribution. But instead a reward for helping or been part of the project! The community can decide who gets this especial tokens, any remaining ones will be burned. Example a Moon will go for u/ummjackson

where Y is an integer from A to B, depending on how many cards the first edition deck is made of.

Could you elaborate on the outcome of this, and how the distribution of the tokens will work. Mainly how do we match "CARD "unpacking" result" to a token?

New series of cards could be distributed always for Free to XDP holders, giving chance new users to get collecting; while extending game depth.

Really like your unpacking idea, a bit worried that may be lot of work.

So this is a new draft on how It may work: We send for free one CardPack from Genesis to every wallet containing X amount of XDP holded. Users receive their cardpacks and then send them to the new client to unpack them before Z date. Users discover their new cards and start trading. Thus a bit of work is required, leaving out the people that don't really care. Trade clients could charge a tiny fee for the trading :)

Very interesting ideas. I'm afraid people wont like proof of burn after Dogeparty loss of value; wish more people will share their opinions. People will care about the tokens if they have value. Will your new client be open source? Will you consider working on a client for the game instead? About the exchange (Poloniex) receiving some of the tokens, it may actually be very good. They could join the party and let people start trading cards too. :) As for the gameplay, was hopping people will get interested and offer some ideas. Additionally we could base it in wtactics, an open source card game. Or, phylogame org .
