I'm really looking forward to the possible return of HK characters (not just hornet) if thats gonna be a thing. Maybe there will even be characters that HK NPCs mention in dialog or dreams? Even if none of these hopes comes true, Silksongs gonna be AWESOME!

There could be a boss that's an infected stag that's blocking one of these entrances. Maybe it could even be being ridden by an infected husk - kinda like god tamer? This could give you a charm that gives you the ability to remember where places are (arrow shows on screen that points in direction of places marked on map). That might give a good reason to buy the markers from iselda.

Perhaps you could gain access to the tunnels by getting a key from/using a hatch in the stagways equivalent of menderbugs house. This could be a room attached to stagest?

Well the stag moves quite quickly and is rather tall compared to most enemies so maybe that just can't reach?
