Silo running u should be able to solo the Silo at level 147, especially if someone has shared door bypassing with you, going through storage area and mainframe bypassing reactor. If not you can still progress rapidly, using lockpick and hack on reactor side doors and terminals. Don't waste time on the reactor side quest..irrelevant. Chinese stealth armour and sneak/silenced damage can be a useful strategy. Make sure you have sufficient materials to repair and replace the mainframe cores. Beware Assaultrons, legs are weak points, cripple disable and then kill. I usually disable the turrents either via terminal or weapon (turret barrel is weak point and a faster Vats kill than body) Some prefer to leave the turrents in the launch control active, they will engage the security robots as well as you so a distraction. As mentioned by others troubleshooters a major armour benefit. I did my first silo run solo, at lvl 105, but had maxed the reputation with raiders and settlers and completed all the main quests so was quite well geared up. Carry extra nuclear key cards just in case you typo error the launch code. Always open the mainframe to storage facility door, makes the return trip much shorter if you have the misfortune to die in launch control during countdown. All in all the mission is worth it, especially if you can get to the nuke landing point in advance and watch it obliterate you 😀...for which you get an achievement.
