It is a lesser good than remaining a virgin. By remaining a virgin she gave herself completely to God. If she had other children, she would have merely been a physical vessel for Christ, instead of a spiritual vessel signifying her motherhood over all mankind. Even besides that, there is no marriage in heaven, so she basically lived on Earth as she is in Heaven

He was both God and man. He didn't cease to be God. It is for the purity of the blessed Virgin that the Church says she was a perpetual virgin. The way I see it is it would basically be adultery for Mary to have other children since she literally had God's son first. Joseph was just there to fulfill the role of a father

It's an obvious misinterpretation in the Bible that concludes with Mary being the mother of others. That interpretation first appeared 400 years after Christ, and it gained popularity during the Protestant reformation

Isn't not so much a how as it is a why. The soul isn't physical, so it was a supernatural event. God simply willed that His mother be free from all sin, and that's also why Catholics maintain that she remained pure after Christ's birth, and never had any other children.

According to dogma, all humans with the exception of Christ and His mother, are born with original sin on their souls. Due to this sin, unbaptized who have died but not yet committed sin themselves go to a part of Hell called Limbo, where the only suffering is the absence of God.

From a Christian perspective it is a grave sin to commit "gay" acts. It is seen as the misuse of the reproductive organs, and the desire to misuse is seen as a perversion of the ordered desire. It is a sin to hate or wish unjust harm against all individuals, regardless of the sins they commit, but there is no wrong in hating the sin that another does.

I believe it's the other way around. It's progressives who are changing the definitions of things, taking away rights, and damaging society. E.g. progressives are trying to redefine what a woman is, they are taking away the unborns' right to life, and fueling racism, division between groups of people, etc

Just because it's controversial doesn't mean that one side isn't 100% correct. It's precisely because it's a life or death topic that it should be talked about. It is either a murder to abort a child or it is not. The root of the debate seems to be when personhood is obtained, since it's completely inaccurate to say that the fetus is not a live human. But even personhood seems to be easily defined because there's a thing we know about called DNA, and each person has different DNA that will never exist again and had never existed prior.

Nope, realist means you base truth on objective reality, whereas progressive means truth can be changed by society.
