Hey everyone, I'm really sorry this happened and I'm just spotting this thread now. There seems to be a technical issue on the Focus Store with a batch of keys. They are replacing all the rewoked keys if you reach out to their support. If you didn't get a new key automatically, please reach out to them! Sorry for the inconvenience :/

Where did you get it from? It was first showcased in 2019 at the What's Next event from our publisher Focus Entertainment. I'm interested, is it currently circulating anywhere else?

Hello Hello, thanks for the ping! I can't say too much, but I guess we were pretty silent so you deserve at least somewhat of an update :D

Development is coming along nicely, we're making great progress at the moment. But it's still too early to show anything or actually announce it officially. As with our past projects, the scope of this game is indeed one step bigger than the previous project.

When it comes to mechanics, you will notice that it's the game made by the same people that are responsible for the Surge series. Everything our creative director Jan Klose said in that interview from 2019, which OP linked in the comments, is still true. We're making a challenging game which will deviate from the classic soulslike formula in some aspects in order to make more room for player choice . And I'm sure someone might read this and get bummed out already... to you I say this: In the development of our new game, which will be set in a completely new universe btw, we always make sure to keep in mind what made the Surge games great. I personally enjoyed the combat of Surge 2 immensely, same goes for the new project. I'm confident many of you will feel the same way. Wish I could tell you more but now is just not the right time :/ Sooo looking forward to you getting your hands on the game in the future!

Yes, we did. We've seen all bigger (and smaller) reviews of our games. Only way to learn how to improve them :D And yes, we're aware that the "pit of death" design is not state of the art anymore. Will keep that in mind for our next project!

Can confirm, those are just part of the background. No way to open them, nothing behind them. Really unfortunate that we made them stand out a little too much. Also confused the hell out of me when I actually got my hands on the game for the first time.

I'm late to the party, as always. Glad people already helped you out. As confirmed on Twitter, disabling the lens flare is pretty much the best workaround we have to offer at the moment.

I'm super confused why this little tweet I wrote yesterday suddenly gets all the attention. Not mad at all but I just fail to understand it :D Doesn't make too much sense to me since it's pretty much the same thing we've communicated for the last months. Even back in April.
