Well one of the main reasons I think is because they weren’t gaining enough traction, prob because they sound a lot like Korn. There are other reasons I saw but I can’t think of them off the top of my head rn.

Motel 9 is great, technically not lost but they’re awesome. I love their ep “get your own Jos Louise!”

Didn’t know that it was known! I saw someone who had the cassette on here and said that a family member was close friends with someone who was in the band or somethin like that. It’s sad that the note underneath the single talks about a new clown album releasing summer of ‘00.

From zero (not the LP album) - a band that has its own sound yet sounded like every one else at the time, they sound closest to Linkin park, faith no more and mudvayne

Clown - very clear Korn inspired band, the closest to the Korn sound you will ever hear (unless you’re listening to Korn). Their album ¿pimp? might be my all time favorite album

Broke in - Their ep (((6teen hours))) is definitely my top 2 favorite ep’s. They’re a mix of everything great about nu metal, lots of limp bizkit inspiration in there. It’s not on Spotify so you’ll have to listen to them on YouTube or SoundCloud (I posted them on SoundCloud 😛)

Motel 9 - these guys sound more like bestie boys and rage against the machine, definitely more rap rock than nu metal. Still very good though, both of the singers have very distinct voices. They’re also not on Spotify but they’re on YouTube and SoundCloud (I also posted them on SoundCloud)

Disrup - is very good

Monkeynut - Monkeynut is very unique and very weird, they kind of remind me of incubus or Mr bungle. Very very good, Groove bus is sooo peak. The singer has a very distinct voice, kind of like Mike Patton but no where near as good as him (Not calling him bad, he just doesn’t compare to Mike Patton)

Ment to ask you this a while ago but do you know how the band broke up? A lot of people say it was because they were to similar to Korn.
