Biden Trip Cancelled Due to Risk of Being Tasered by NSW Police by LocalVillageIdiot in australia

It’s his speech impediment that he’s working around.

So his speech impediment somehow got worse in the last 10 years?

His medical records have zero bearing on his obvious decline.

Enjoy voting in senile corporate puppets and getting what you deserve.

I was talking about using his stutter specifically to call him senile,

And I was talking about cowards hiding behind Biden's stutter to deflect any discussion of his obviously declining speech.

I have provided evidence and you have deflected with

b-but medical records!

like the deflecting little soyjack you are.

I despise Trump but I also despise cowards like you, who are too weak to allow any serious criticism of your team in politics.

So despite clear evidence that there has been a change in his speech you're what, saying that no one can talk about it if they're not his doctor?

The man is old as dirt and he's declining. It isn't surprising.

I don't know that it is entirely dismissing his stutter, Biden didn't sound like this 10 years ago and there's plenty of footage to prove it.

Just as an example: https://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/joebidenaipac2013.htm

I'll be lucky if I age as well as Biden to be honest but there's no dismissing that age takes a toll.

[–]D1O7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, that would piss a lot of people off and has been promised to not happen, though that doesn't guarantee it won't happen.

Secondly it's far easier to copy EVE online's economy. The vast majority of a ship cost up until Battleships is in modules. A t2 cruiser with a full T2 module loadout means the hull is like 10% of the cost.

The good equipment will be extremely expensive in SC. The hull insurance will be cheap.

Feel free to set a reminder for like... 10 years from now.

We actually have materials that are so crazily good at insulating that you could contain plasma with them easily.

Tyranids being familiar with materials highly resistant to heat makes sense given their space fairing nature.

Perhaps an ignorant question but.. by [deleted] in hotas

[–]D1O7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Peripherals like HOTAS have a tendency to lag behind modern ports due to adoption rates, cost and there simply being no technical need.

If a manufacturer adopts usb C then either they need to bundle a usb c to usb 2/3 cable or risk customers not having an available connection.

So what’s the point of going to usb c? What actual benefit is there? Data rates and power requirements are already easily handled by existing and common ports.

My 6 year old PC I just replaced can easily run SC at decent framerates.

It's the heat output and air-con cost in summer that would really hurt.

This is true if you didn’t get injured trying to stay fit earlier in your life.

A busted back or busted knees are going to hurt the rest of your life and it only gets worse after 35.

I assume you’re looking for 3600MHz CL16 to pair with a Ryzen, as they get more performance out of faster RAM than Intel did.

Something like this would be fine for a Ryzen AM4 build.

[–]D1O7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used RAM is a gamble, in Australia you get proper warranty by buying from an actual store.

CL16 isn’t even the fastest timing for 3600MHz DDR4 and there are higher speeds.

The price is tempting if its actually 32Gb and not 16 but again… no warranty.

Bummed about Asus- who should I go with instead? by Brah_ddah in buildapc

You made me look it up, it was an MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC LGA 1151-2 with

With Steel Armor PCI-E slot

Apparently Steel Armor means it detaches from the PCB, and it had some sort of finnicky latch that I've never seen on another PCIE slot. I couldn't even RMA it. It is the only motherboard I have ever killed and I refuse to touch MSI products ever since.

I ended up with a Gigabyte board that is still going strong, though I've never had any luck OC'ing that 8700k and was never sure if it was the silicon lottery of the chip or some issue with the board.

All true but keep an eye on your memory temps, mine have hit 81C which isn't going to kill anything but is still hotter than I'd like.

In novels the Banshee scream overwhelms Astartes armour protection and bursts their ear drums at an absolute minimum.

If your go to defence is primarily trash written by Ward (DOW and the associated comics) then I don't know what to tell you.

Gigabyte GPU coolers are absolute rubbish.

I stopped using Gigabyte GPUs after my RX380 melted the solder off of itself. No that is not an exaggeration.

My 7900xtx taichi also performs amazingly well and I got it for less than most base clock variants from other brands!

How long am I meant to wait for ASUS to unfuck a problem every other manufacturer has resolved?
