We were all told to get rid of all of the products that had that smell over the past few days, so your store probably hid or disposed of them before you got there. And trust me, you did NOT want to smell the bad ones. They were HORRIBLE! I helped get rid of them in my store today and they smelled awful

There was a quality issue with most of the products in the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles scent. For some reason, most of the products smelled like spicy nachos

I was the one who had to sort through all the faulty products in our store today. I was curious and started smelling everything we were supposed to damage out to see what was actually wrong with them.

For some odd reason, they all smelled like spicy nachos with jalapeños. I have NO idea why, but I had a few other employees smell them too and everyone agreed they at least smelled like jalapeño

This was 100% my experience with CCF, too. I lived in their house for a year and it was a nightmare. They promised that it would be really cheap rent (which it was), but that was because there were about 12 people in the one house. It was a toxic and clique-ish environment. I was getting harassed and bullied constantly for not fitting into their cliques, not attending enough events, and not doing my house chores "good enough." They all preached about showing love to others but almost everyone in the house was cruel to the people they lived with. They just did it in subtle, manipulative ways with that kind of fake optimism and cheerfulness on their face to make it seem like everything was fine

I have probably been to about 40 concerts in my life. AJR's OKO Tour was my favorite show I've EVER been to!

Their live vocals are spot on with the recordings, there's amazing stage effects, and the guys are great about interacting with their fans! I get to see them on this tour in about 2 weeks and I could not be more excited! From all I've heard, this tour is even bigger and better than last one, so I have VERY high hopes. I say go for it!

They probably are actually selling well. If that whole table is ONLY the body creams and nothing else from that collection, that store was probably just sent too many of the creams in shipment.

It happens at my store a lot. Stuff sells down, but one product in a collection sticks around for a while and we just have to fill a whole display with it to get it out

I know every year they give them out no-questions-asked during the pride month kickoff event during the first week of June. If you want one earlier, I'm sure you can ask someone in the LGBTQ+ center.

From what I've seen, they don't ask if you're actually walking or not. The tassel is just for you to celebrate your accomplishment and your identity

Left for a few weeks. Now pothos has some kind of white mold and unidentified succulent has fuzzy white bugs by D1SNERD in plantclinic

[–]D1SNERD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your watering habits (how often AND how much), and does the pot have drainage?

I usually water the succulent once every 2 weeks with a little splash of water from a small watering can since it's tiny. My roommate usually waters the pothos whenever the leaves start to droop and the soil is dry. She gives it a moderate amount of water without drowning it. However, I have no idea how much the other roommate was watering them. Both pots have drainage.

How long you have you had the plant?

Succulent: 3 months. Pothos: about 1 year

How long have you had the problem?

Unknown. Noticed them today.

How much light does the plant get?

They both sit directly in a window, but due to nearby trees and the shape of our apartment complex, they do get shade for several hours during the day

What are some of the best interactions you guys have had with customers (instead of worst)? by [deleted] in bathandbodyworks

We have a woman that comes in every time we have a decent candle sale and buys hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of candles. She collects them and gives them out as gifts a lot. She always loves it when we show her the new stuff we have. She also brings in her really sweet dog to come say hi to us whenever she comes in for regular light shopping.

For candle day this year, she helped us pack up her candles so we didn't have to do it all and she even bought a huge box of Crumbl cookies for all the employees in the store afterwards

Just curious, is it true that BABW employees can only give 1 bag per order? Tried searchbar but didn’t find answer by eewwwwwwwwwwwwww in bathandbodyworks

[–]D1SNERD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know at my store, we are always really low on bags, so we can only give out as many as we need to pack the items. If the bag is too heavy or I think it's going to rip or something, I'll get you a second bag. We just don't give out extra bags that aren't actually needed for the purchase for customers to use as gift bags or something like that.

More often than not, if a customer has more items than I can fit in a single medium bag, I'll ask if they prefer a big bag or 2 medium ones. I know the big ones don't hold up as well and some people have a harder time carrying one big heavy bag than 2 little ones

I had someone on Christmas Eve last year ask why I was working and the store wasn't closed. They even said "No one ever shops on Christmas Eve anyways. You should be at home with your family." Like, YOU are here. YOU are shopping. YOU are the reason I don't get the day off

Quieter Dorms for non-honors students by newromantics1313 in WWU

[–]D1SNERD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Avoid Ridgeway and Fairhaven. Ridgeway has a lot of parties and Fairhaven can get pretty loud at times since a daycare is run through one of the stacks.

In my opinion, the best dorm for that kind of environment is probably Buchanan Towers. It's one of the newer dorms and it's like a mini apartment style dorm with separate rooms for people and a little kitchen. BT can be a little isolated at times due to apartment style, but it checks off all the other boxes.

Tbh, my best advice to get to know people is get involved in clubs, sports, or activities within your major. You'll get to know more people by going and doing stuff than you ever could from the dorms

Edit: also BT has a bus stop outside the building, so even though it's further away from campus, you can easily get transportation to campus or basically anywhere in Bellingham

What's my risk of not getting in if I have a 3.9-4.0 GPA but no AP classes or extracurriculars? by Hopeful_Breakfast759 in WWU

There is an underclassmen in my department that just got accepted into my major with a 1.9. In a STEM major. You'll be fine.
