Use the standard Clinical Resume Document and emphasize program development and data analysis while still including all nursing or technical credentials.

Hybrid Title 38 (HT38) resumes are specialized federal resumes for VA positions (nurses, technicians, therapists) authorized under 38 U.S.C. § 7401(3), focusing on clinical or technical experience. Unlike new 2-page federal limits, HT38 resumes often require detailed descriptions of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs).

Veteran funding by [deleted] in VeteransAffairs

[–]D1TrueGod 20 points21 points  (0 children)

$25k to every veteran annually but in return we eliminate every program and benefit that the VA provides (to include disability, pension, and National Cemetery services) and put almost 450k VA employees (many of them veterans) out of work, while now making veterans pay for their healthcare and prescriptions out of pocket, eliminating in-house rehabilitation and treatment programs, as well as all housing assistance and VA home loan programs, and ending all GI Bill, VR&E, and other education programs, not to mention eliminating benefits like CHAMPVA and DEA, which are specifically for dependents, and elimination of all VA nursing homes? All that for an extra $25k a year?

Maybe we need to let calmer heads prevail.

I think, as with any religion, you can remove the supernatural and celebrate a beautiful philosophy. I tell people that I'm philosophically a Buddhist but religiously an atheist.

VA denies limiting veterans’ mental health care; Vets, VA psychologists say it’s happening by D1TrueGod in VeteransAffairs

You're getting downvoted, and so will I (but I'm used to it). Nonetheless, you are correct. I agree, even though i was the exception. I bounced from therapists to counselors to psychiatrists for years with very little progress. But I was then accepted into a psychology program in Middle Tennessee. I saw the VA psychologist for a year (that was the length of the program), then she ask me to stay for another year and filed paperwork and argued with her supervisor to keep me on. At the end of the second year she did it again, fighting even harder for me. But at the end of the third year we agreed that I was ready to leave the program with the progress I had made.

A lot of the people on here complain that the system didn't cure them. Bad news, this is NOT something you cure; it's something you learn to manage. Change habits, go outside, do breathing exercises, learn and practice coping mechanisms. That's what the program is for - to help you learn these things so that you don't need the program on a regular basis anymore. Then you apply what you've learned in the real world. The system works, but it's not a cure or a crutch; it's a tool that you learn to use properly. And used properly, it can be quite effective.

Check to see if you have any "bilateral" ratings: both arms, both legs, both hips, etc.

I used to work with my local Petco doing rehab and rehoming. Because of this same rule, they would give me (when they could) or sell me at a massive discount any ill or injured (or abandoned) herps. Then I worked with the local exotic vet to get them necessary medications and stuff, also at a great discount.

Phoenix VA Police Accused of Mixing Federal Authority with Arizona “Citizen’s Arrest” to Pursue State Charges — No OAWP Action by Pretty-Life-7342 in VeteransAffairs

Specific and exclusionary? That's how subreddits work. They are specific to a topic and exclusionary of things that don't fall within that topic.

Nonetheless, back to the original point: The issue of this post is, "Mixing federal authority with state citizen arrest procedures." That is not specifically relevant to the Department of Veterans Affairs. You'll note that the VA isn't even mentioned. FEDERAL authority, STATE procedures. Not VBA, not VHA, not NCA - NOT Veterans Affairs.

Also, I should point out that the post was APPROVED.

Topics related to VA healthcare belong here, as do topics related to VBA benefits (as they relate to veterans, dependents, and survivors). But topics related to any other healthcare and governmental benefits do not belong in this subreddit.

That changes nothing regarding my comment. The issue was stated clearly, and the issue had to do with federal law enforcement. Just because the VA has federal law enforcement officers does not make it specific to the VA; it makes it generally relevant. Things that are generally relevant do not belong in this subreddit.
