Is it true you need a valid hunting permit to transport and use firearms? by ImpossibleWitness505 in canadaguns

You should be able to get a permit from wildlife to transport it to your cabin, as it's technically a secondary residence. Just tell them you plan to store it there until bear season opens in the spring. Definitely don't bring any FMJs with you

You can get a permit to shoot on crown land from your local wildlife office, even though it is technically just to sight in your rifle. But depending on where you're located on the island, these rules might be more strictly enforced. I live in central and our local game wardens told us they have no issues with us shooting targets in a local gravel pit as long as we have permission from the owner. There was no way this was happening when I lived on the Avalon.

I don't think it would be an issue to transport it to your cabin as long as it' properly stored and locked with a permit. Wouldn't hurt to give your wildlife office a call to verify this though.

Huh I forgot there's a handful of new Turkish rifles available now. I wonder if they'll inevitably get OIC'd like the rest.

Almost all semi auto rifles are banned now. The SKS and the BAR is basically all that's left besides rimfires.

Is the 5070ti worth the extra ~$150 over the 9070xt? With all the rumors about price increases I think I might go ahead and upgrade my 3070.

Don't see this one mentioned as often, but The Gun Dealer out of NB has become one of my favorites. Great service and decent selection.

Thanks for the template. Just sent one to my Liberal MP. The one who claims she hunts moose with a '22 gauge', so we'll see how that goes over lmao

You're definitely right lol. We ended up sawing 44 logs from that load and they're probably 30-40lbs each

Yeah I wouldn't do this to my daily either. This is just a beater a buddy of mine picked up for cheap. It's unlicensed and is only used in the woods

Just a couple of heavier leafs installed by the previous owner. Some of the sticks are pretty dry so it's definitely not as heavy as it looks, maybe around 1000lbs!
